Sera and Ron sprinted, hard, towards Professor Lockhart's office.

"Lockhart may be useless, but he's gong to try and get into the Chamber!" Sera called to Ron over her shoulder as they hurried to Lockhart's office. They were losing precious time. Dante could be dead by now, if they didn't hurry. "At least we can tell him what we know!"

The two of them burst into Professor Lockhart's office.

"Professor! We've got some information for you —" Sera paused, staring in shock and in disbelief as she stared at the two half-packed trunks that were spilling over with clothes.

"Are you going somewhere?" Ron demanded, noticing that Sera had suddenly gone still.

"Yes, urgent call," he blabbed. "Unavoidable. Got to go —"

"What about my best friend, here?!" Sera demanded shrilly. Her voice sounded unlike her own, and that scared her.

"Well you see, when I took the job, there was nothing in the job description —"

"So you're just running away? After all those things you did in your books?"

"Books can be misleading."

"But you wrote them!" Sera insisted.

Professor Lockhart slammed his pile of robes onto the wooden desk. He did not want to play games with this so-called powerful witch.

"My dear child, do you have any common sense?! My books wouldn't have sold half the price if people had thought that I wrote them!"

Everything hit Sera like a wave of bricks tumbling down into her stomach. She knew that this man was suspicious! And now, she had the proof.

"So you're a fraud. You've just been taking credit from what other witches and wizards have done?"

"Is there really anything you can do?" Ron asked stubbornly.

"Yes," Lockhart answered proudly. He stood up a little taller. "Now that you've mentioned it. I'm rather gifted with the Memory Charm. Otherwise all of those witches and wizards would have gone blabbing. In fact, I think that I might have to do the same to you —"

He was cut off. Sera and Ron had pulled out their wands, outnumbering Professor Lockhart. He hesitated before lowering his wand hand.

"Don't. Even. Think. About. It," Sera demanded.

She motioned for him to lower his wand more. Professor Lockhart sighed. Still keeping Lockhart under wand point, she motioned for Ron to come forward and grab Professor Lockhart's wand. He tossed it out the open window so that he could not escape so easily.

Forcing Professor Lockhart by wand point, they made their way to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. As usual, she was moaning, floating around aimlessly. But she stopped as soon as the three of them ad entered the lavatory.

"Hello? Who's there?" She suddenly became flirtatious when she saw Ron and Gilderoy Lockhart. But Sera pretended to not notice the flirting. "Oh. Hello, Seraphina. . . . . Ron." One second, she was flirtatious. The second moment, she scowled, not looking too pleased about her space being taken over. "what do you want?"

"To ask you how you died," Sera answered slowly.

Myrtle looked enthusiastic about being asked. As though she was flattered by the topic. She tried to not look too cheerful, but Sera could tell that she was having trouble keeping a straight face.

"It was dreadful," she sniffled. "It happened right here in this very bathroom. I had been hiding because Olive Hornby had been making fun of my glasses earlier in the day. I fled to the bathroom. I was crying. And then, I heard someone come in."
