"So how are you going to get the memory from Professor Slughorn, Harry?" Sera asked for the third time that week.

Ever since the last disastrous attempt to weasel his way into Professor Slughorn's mind, and Ron's unexpected attack, Harry still hadn't had the courage to go and ask Professor Slughorn for the memory. But they needed it in order to save their wizarding world, their beloved home.

"Honestly, Sis," Harry answered in a bitter tone, "I have no idea."

Sera sighed and chucked her pencil down onto her Divinations book, catching her brother by surprise. She lifted her head and gave him a look.

"I wish that I could give you some sort of luck, brother. But I don't know what else to do for you."

Harry's eyes suddenly lit up, as though he remembered something. He jumped to his feet, startling his sister. She stared at him in disbelief.

"Luck!" he said excitedly. "That's it! Sis, you're the best!"

He sprinted forward and placed a rather aggressive kiss on her forehead, confusing her.

"I didn't say anything, though!" she insisted, wondering what in the world he was talking about.

"That doesn't matter! Go get Ron, Hermione, and Dante!"

Sera stared at her brother, perplexed, as he dashed off for the boy's dorm. She was about to get to her feet when, just in time, Hermione, Ron, and Dante had arrived. She jumped to her feet and turned to stare at them, and they stared at her in return.

"What is it?" Ron finally asked.

"Harry wants us —" Sera began, only to be interrupted by her brother thundering back down the stairs. He had the vial of golden Liquid Luck in his hands, the one that he hadn't opened all year. "— To all be here together."

"C'mon! Let's see if this works!" Harry insisted excitedly.

They gathered around the couch. Harry sat in the chair opposite of his friends. They stared expectantly, waiting for him to see if the potion would work. Slowly, Harry uncorked the small vial before gulping down half of the glass container.

Almost at once, Sera noticed that her brother had a dreamy look on his face. She stared at him expectantly.

"Well? How does it feel?" she prodded impatiently.

A grin came to her brother's face, and he leapt to his feet. "Brilliant. Really brilliant! I've never felt so confident before in my entire life."

"Remember," Hermione reminded him. "Slughorn usually likes to eat early, takes his evening walk, and retire to his chambers before eight o'clock."

Harry nodded, though Sera could tell that his mind was on something else. "Right. I'm going down to Hagrid's."

Sera's mouth dropped open in shock. She scrambled to her feet, trying to get her brother to go in a different direction.

"What?! No, Harry — you're supposed to go to Slughorn!"

Her brother turned to face her again. He shrugged, still grinning.

"I know. I just have a good feeling about going to Hagrid's. I know what I'm doing. Or at least, Felix knows what he's doing."

He gave his sister a coquettish smile before walking confidently out of the Gryffindor common room door. His sister and his friends stared after him in dismay and shock. Finally, Ron broke the silence.

"What the bloody hell is going through his mind right now?"

Sera shrugged, grinning guiltily. "I dunno, Ron. But if Harry knows what he's doing, I suppose that we should trust him, right?"
