It took the five of them another month to brew another batch of Polyjuice potion so that they could sneak into the Ministry without being spotted.
When the day came, they found an empty garage to take cover in while they went to find some witches and wizards to transform themselves into.
Ron walked casually out, first. He knelt down and pretended to tie his shoe. Hermione cast a spell behind him, sending someone falling on their face. Ron stood up and turned before dragging the lifeless body into the garage. They'd already gotten the other four wizards earlier.
Ron sighed, straightening up.
"Right. Who gets who?"
"Well, it's a bit obvious that Sera and I will take the females, as it would be a bit weird to see three men wearing skirts once the Polyjuice potion wears off," Hermione tried to joke.
Sera bent down and plucked a couple strands of dark-brown hair from the woman's temple before putting it carefully inside the flask. Hermione began to give out instructions.
"Remember. Always keep your eyes down. Don't speak to anyone, unless it's absolutely necessary. Try and act as normal as possible. Don't try to act suspicious to those around you. And with a bit of luck, we can get ourselves in."
"That's the hard part," Sera muttered under her breath.
They turned to face the unconscious group of witches and wizards in front of them. Harry shook his head, looking full of disbelief.
"This is absolutely mental," he muttered under his breath.
Sera shrugged. "We've got to do it. It's our only chance of getting the locket and destroying You-Know-Who."
Once they'd finished drinking from their flasks (and shuddering in disgust), they casually walked out. The boys departed for the boy's stalls, while Sera and Hermione made their way to the girls' stalls. Once in, they made sure to take notes on what everyone else was doing around them to make sure that they were doing things correctly. Sera turned to face a scared Hermione.
"See you on the other side, then," she quipped half-cheerfully.
Hermione gave her a half smile before nodding. She stepped into the stall. Sera had taken notes as to what had been going on around her and did as everyone else was doing — which was going down the toilet. Once she had gone through the chute and into the fireplace, she met up with the others.
But a horrible sight caught her eyes. Her face turned green at the very sight. She was so distracted by what was in front of her, that she was not even aware that her other friends had joined her, as well.
