"The question is, how are we going to get into Gringotts without acting suspicious?" Hermione asked, once Harry had gotten all the information he needed from Griphook.
That got Sera to thinking. She found herself looking around the room for any sort of inspiration, until her eyes landed on Dante's sweatshirt, the very one he had worn when he had been tormented by his horrific aunt. She frowned and approached it, noticing something on his sweater. As she got a closer look, she noticed that a long, strand of hair was still stuck on his sleeve.
Sera gasped, catching everyone's attention. She bent down and got a closer look, gently plucking the strand of long, black, coyly hair from Dante's sweater. She got to her feet and turned to face her friends, proudly holding up the black strand of hair in front of them.
Ron frowned.
"What the bloody hell is that?"
Sera scoffed and rolled her eyes. "What do you think that is, Ronald?"
Dante frowned and gently plucked the strand of hair from his girlfriend's hold.
"Oh, my God," he finally muttered under his breath.
"What is it, mate?" said Ron. He sounded irritated that no one was giving him the answer.
"I didn't realize it at the time, because I was in so much pain —" he winced at those memories but continued "— but I'm guessing that this must be Auntie Bellatrix's hair. It must have floated off when she had been interrogating Griphook."
"That's a possible theory," Sera agreed. "But are you sure that's her hair, Dante?"
Dante rolled his eyes. "I know what my aunt's hair looks like, Sera. I'm 100% positive that it's her hair."
A month later, they had finally brewed the Polyjuice Potion. Everyone in the house realized that this potion was rather important, so they tried to not disturb anything.
"For the last time. Are you sure that it's hers?" Ron insisted.
"For the last time, Ronald," Sera answered. "We're positive."
"This was the closest dress that I found of hers that you described," Fleur declared, coming into the room as they began to get prepared.
"Thanks, Fleur," said Hermione as she took the dress from Fleur's hands.
"I reckon that you should take this, Hermione," said Harry.
Hermione eyed the and nervously.
"Can't I take the other wand?" Hermione asked anxiously.
Ron rolled his eyes. "You heard Mr. Ollivander. The wand belongs to Harry, now."
Hermione wrinkled her nose. "But I hate it. It's as though she's actually here with us. It's the wand that killed Sirius and tormented Dante, for God's sake! How can I hold it and not —?"
Harry rolled his eyes at Hermione's complaints. "If I can hold it, so can you, Hermione."
Hermione glared at Harry before carefully taking the wand in her hands. She still looked hesitant about holding it, and slightly uncomfortable. Sera couldn't blame her.
"How will you know when the Horcrux is close?" Ron asked. "After all, the Horcrux could be anything."
"Don't worry, I'll know. It's kinda hard for me to explain it. But I guess that the only way I can describe it is like it's . . . . singing to me, I guess."
Everyone glanced nervously at each other.
"That is a bit scary," Ron finally answered.
"It is, Harry," Hermione agreed. "Did Dumbledore ever say anything to you? Something that might explain why —?"
