I sat to the side, watching MK with Sandy and Mei as he attempted to gain more of his powers back.

He got his gold vision back, but that was after almost gambling everything with a goldfish demon.

Me and him haven't talked since this whole thing started, and I didn't want to talk, especially with this curse keeping me from saying anything about the future.

I can't tell how much it has progressed, but I have been coughing a lot, and my throat is cold to the touch, so there's that.

"Okay, MK. It's time. Time to look inward. Time to reclaim the power. Time to shout out till the whole world hears --." Mei cheers out.

"Here comes Monkie Kid!" MK shouted, trying to regain more lost powers.

"Go MK!" Mei cheered him on.

"You can do it!" Sandy encourages.

MK grunts. "I can't do it."

"It's all right, MK. You did it before, you'll do it again." Mei says.

"Yeah. Maybe it's like Monkey King said. The power will come when you need it most." Sandy told him.

"But what use am I if I can't be sure my powers are gonna work?  And Gold Vision?  That's like the baby power. And I can't even do that. I'm not even as good as a baby. So what about 72 transformations, or duplication, or shrinking. Or- how am I meant to fight the Lady Bone Demon?  It would be really helpful if I knew what was going to happen, but do I know that? No!" MK said that last part toward me.

"Maybe you should stop acting like a baby." I mumbled under my breath, but he didn't hear me.

"That's why we're going to find those fancy-pantsy rings, yo. Light her up with Samadhi Fire, bing, bang, boom." Mei said confidently.

I sadly looked at Mei.

I wish I could help her, and tell her that there are four rings, and she's the fourth ring, but I can't.

If only there were a temporary way to stop this curse.

I thought to myself before I realized something.

We're about to have a run-in with Redson, and Redson knows a lot of magic and mystic stuff, maybe he knows something.

"Hey, you four, we're leaving!" Tang shouted.

"Tang, don't just yell, I could do that!" Pigsy yelled back.

"Oh. We better go." MK said, walking off.

"Wrong way, MK. They already pulled up. Get a move on." Mei says, entering the T.E.A which had somehow magically pulled up.

"Oh. Right. Head in the game, MK." MK got in the T.E.A.

"Hey, Sandy? Do you have some tea in the back?" I asked Sandy, following him inside the T.E.A. "My throat is a little scratchy."

"Sure." Sandy smiles. "Just be careful not to burn your hand. I know you have healing healing powers, but you can still get hurt."

"I will, Sandy." I sat down in the back while the others were up front.

After a while of driving, I was busy in the back, making myself a cup of nice and warm tea.

Maybe this will help my throat, barely maybe, but it's still good.

I hummed to myself, pouring some tea into a cup.

"Finally." I held the cup to my mouth. "Now I can drink it--."

I paused, feeling something shift behind me.
