We all screamed after being teleported to another chapter which was a swamp, and unfortunately, Mr. Tang fell into the swamp.

MK, Mei, and I looked over the dock and screamed at the sight of an alligator beating up Tang.

As the three of us screamed, we then realized another alligator was screaming beside us.

I punched the alligator in the face with my gauntlet, before bodyslamming the alligator that was attacking Tang.

After getting rid of the alligators, we were off to the side recovering.

I used my powers, my gauntlets were put up at the moment as I healed Tang's injuries while Mei bandaged them.

"Dang, I had a really good feeling about this chapter! I mean pigs love mud puddles." MK said with his head down.

I opened my mouth to tell them that Pigsy is in this chapter, but Mei started speaking.

"And snuffling for truffles." Mei adds.

"That's it! This Tang has had it! We've been through a bajillion chapters from Monkey King's Journey to the West and I feel like we're no closer to finding Pigsy, Sandy, or Monkey King. I'm tired, my feet hurt, and I've had this thing..." Tang rolls up his sleeve to reveal a snake on his arm. "Attached to me since we've been to the chapter with the snake village!"

"Oooh, uh, let me get that." I carefully yanked the snake off, throwing it a good bit away before I healed Tang's arm, again.

"Ah, don't be like that Mr. Tang. It wasn't so bad. Those Snake Lady Demons were actually pretty friendly." MK waved it off.

"They tried to eat me!" Tang shouted.

"It's not our fault you look so sweet." Mei says.

I sighed. "As I've said before, Tang Sanzang has been captured and almost eaten by many, and I mean many demons before, so obviously it's going to happen to Tang."

"I just wish we could find our friends and go home." Tang says sadly.

MK wraps his arm around Tang's shoulder. "Okay, so I'm totally hearing your concerns and look, I get it! Learning to use your new powers is hard. Trust me, I know. I just think that maybe — and don't be offended by what I'm about to say — maybe if you spent a little less time complaining and a little more time thinky thinking, then we might have found our friends by now? Maybe?"

"Hey! I'm following these vague instructions from this mysterious Azure Lion that Y/n says is the bad guy this season perfectly! We should have found someone by now. What did Azure Lion tell you, exactly?" Tang looked at us.

MK began to explain to Tang what Azure said to us. "And then he said something like, "If your bonds of friendship are strong, then you will always find your way back to one another."

"What? But-But I'm not learned in the mystic arts. I'm a cram-before-the-exam kinda guy. I can't really even use my powers when I want to." Tang said nervously.

"Well, might wanna get cramming then, cram boy. Eh?" Nei said to him.

Tang glared at Mei and got up to leave.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going, young man?!" MK shouts at Tang as he is leaving.

"To get cramming, apparently! Hah!" Tang shouts as he left.

"Sheesh. Why's he so cranky?" MK crosses his arms.

I slapped the back of MK's head.

"Ow!" MK rubbed his head. "What did you do that for?"
