I'm currently on Flower Fruit Mountain with MK, watching Monkey  King packs for a so-called vacation.

When I watched the show, Monkey King just told MK he was going on vacation, but what he was doing was looking for the map to the Samadhi Fire to fight the Lady Bone Demon.

I shudder just thinking about her.

I've only had one encounter with her so far, and that's when I blacked out during Spider Queen's attack.

She threatened to silence me for good, and just that sentence from her was enough to chill me to the bone.

I can't guarantee it, but I hope I don't run into her, not while MK needs me to protect him.

I snapped out of my thoughts, hearing my phone buzz.

I looked at it, seeing a pop-up for a new game called Sleep Bug.

I quickly deleted it, not wanting to fall asleep.

"Whatta you mean vacation?" MK looks at Monkey King packing.

"Come on bud. I promised myself when I found a successor I'd go see some friends, take a tour of my old stomping grounds, just cut loose y'know. Ooh gonna need these." Monkey King puts on some sunglasses.

"But you can't just leave! What if someone attacks the city? What if Spider Queen comes back?!" MK panics.

"Ah, you'll figure it out. It's adorable how nervous you are. But don't be! You've come a long way! And you know, the next step of your journey you must do alone." Monkey King told him.

"Alone?" MK says.

"Don't worry MK." I placed a hand on his shoulder. "You're not going to be alone, I'm with you all the way."

MK sighs in relief. "Thank goodness."

"Good on you, bud, but I'm going to need to borrow Y/n for a second." Monkey King puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Wait, what?!" I say before Monkey King pulls me off to the side, out of MK's hearing range.

"You remember what you promised?" Monkey King says.

"Yes." I nodded. "Protect MK, and don't tell him anything."

"Good, he may hate me for thinking I'm leaving on vacation, but when I return, he'll know how important it was." Monkey King said.

"Please hurry, I don't know how much time we have left before she returns." I told him, making him nod as we returned to MK.

"I'll check in, give you some training tools, remote lessons, ah we'll figure it out. You'll be great. Don't worry! Monkey King out!" Monkey King hops on his cloud and blasts away.

"Fine! J-just leave! At least Y/n and my friends will never abandon me!" MK shouted.

I gave MK a side hug. "Let's start heading back."

Finally, after what felt like only a while, we returned to the city, but it was eerily quiet, and I know why.

People in this city are a bunch of idiots to open up a random pop-up they know nothing about.

"Can you believe Monkey King just--." MK says as we enter Pigsy's Noodles, only to find everyone asleep. My friends abandoned me...Oh thank goodness. Tang! Mei! Pigsy? Wake up! Cool, cool, cool. Okay. Everyone is asleep. Monkey King is gone. It's just me and my thoughts. All alone. This is fine."

I sighed, facepalming. "MK, stop talking to yourself, you are not alone, you have me, so quit going crazy."

Exactly a half-hour later, MK somehow looked like he was dressed as a person who refused to leave their house.
