Y/n's P.O.V
The second ring was retrieved from Chang'e kitchen on the Moon.

From that moment, I had never seen Pigsy so excited before in my life.

Sadly, I didn't go, because one, MK was going, two, my throat felt like it was dying, and three, there wasn't enough room in the rocket for me to go.

So I stayed with Mei, Tang, and a very tiny Sandy at the campsite while MK, Monkey King, and Pigsy left to get the second ring.

Currently, we're all in the T.E.A., on our way to get the third ring.

I was sitting in the back, on one of the beds, drinking a cup of tea, trying to ease my throat of its pain, while MK was off to the side doodling.

"So, what you doing, MK?" Mei peered over his shoulder.

"Just doodling." MK rubbed his chin, looking at his drawings.

"Looking good, bud." Monkey King looked at one of the drawings.

"Hmm?" I turned my head to the side, seeing a drawing right next to me.

I picked it up to see a drawing of me and MK beating up bad guys together.

I smiled at it, but then I realized it was probably one of his old ones.

I can't even tell if he's still mad at me.

But seeing this makes me miss the days when he wasn't mad at me.

I looked over at MK, then he looked at me, and I immediately looked away, hiding my blushing face.

"Oh. Did you do any drawings of me, MK?" Mr. Tang asks MK.

"Yeah. They're over there. I didn't like how any of them turned out, though. It was hard to make you look, uh, cool. You know, you get it." MK pointed to a trash can full of rejected Mr. Tang drawings.

"What? But I'm like the coolest guy you know." Tang said, looking down.

"Hey, guys. Land ho!" Sandy shouted.

Everyone gasped, looking out the window to get a good look at the city.

"Hasn't changed a bit." Monkey King sighs.

We were now in a crowded sky train, surrounded by people everywhere.

"Okay, maybe it's changed a little." Monkey King said, smushed between the crowd.

We arrived in Lantern City a few minutes later and gathered outside to decide what to do neck.

"Hmm. So if this map is correct, the last Ring of Samadhi should be around here somewhere. I mean, that looks as good a place as any to look for- hey!" Mr. Tang tried to say, but nobody was listening.

"All right. I remember throwing the ring around here somewhere." Monkey King looks around, rubbing his head.

"He threw it into the crust of the Earth and thought no one could find it." I spoke up, trying to ignore the blistering pain in my throat.

"Is there some kind of festival going on?" MK asks, looking around at all the activities and decorations.

"Looks like it." Pigsy says.

MK approached one of the vendors. "Hi. So, what's up, is there some kind of festival going on?"

"Of course. It's the Ring of Light Festival." The vendor said.

"Yeah, that doesn't really explain how--."

The vendor interrupted MK. "Legends say that Lantern City was once a desolate village, until Monkey King thrust the Ring of Light into the earth, transforming the city into the prosperous metropolis it is today. Every year we hold a festival celebrating Monkey King's gift of the great Ring of Light."
