In a giant crater in the ground, Azure struggled to control the Jade Emperor's power and struggled to keep the universe together.

Cracks filled the sky, and the universe broke at its seams.

And if we couldn't stop it, nothing would be left.

All that would be left would be a void of nothing. No life, no light, and certainly no love if the universe tore itself apart.

The one who tried his best to keep the universe together struggled with deep pain.

Pain that I could feel, pain that felt excruciating. There had to be some way I could ease it.

Not even the baddest person could deserve to feel this.

Azure Lion grunts, his body cracking as well as the sky. "No, no... I can fix this. I can fix all of this! If it wasn't for Sun Wukong, none of this would—."

"Azure, none of this was Monkey King's fault." MK said to Azure.

Monkey King slid into the crater to us. "Azure, just... stop, okay? You've won. You're going to destroy us, just like you wanted. Us and the entire universe."

"Wait, how are you here?" Monkey King asks in confusion.

Azure looked offended. "What? What kind of question is that? You know exactly how..."

"No, here and now! I put you in the Underworld myself. How'd you get out? How'd you get the scroll? I know for sure you didn't steal it... you couldn't have!" Monkey King said, realizing it.

"I... I don't know, I... I was..." Azure looks confused, trying to process the information.

"Azure, who gave you that scroll? Because whoever it was, they must have known this would happen. Wanted this to happen! And they used you to do it." Monkey King said.

Azure looked up at the cracking sky. "I just wanted to make the world a better place."

"Azure, I know you always wanted to be a hero, you saw yourself as one to, but right now, you're the only one that can fix this." I approached the fading lion.

Azure raised his sword as he starts to disintegrate.

"Wait! Azure!" MK shouts.

The realm was pieced back together, thanks to Azure Lion.

I still felt his pain though.

My hands glowed gold, hoping to ease his pain as he faded.

Azure gave one last smile before he dissipated completely.

"What did you do?" MK asked me.

I held my arm. "I used my powers to ease his pain, an act of mercy for him."

MK smiled at me and hugged my side, but then the power of the Jade Emperor started to grow.

"The Jade Emperor's power." Nezha arrived, and Mo was there too for some reason.

Nezha jumped down into the crater and in front of us, creating a barrier. "Yeah, don't worry about it, Wukong, it's fine! I got this. Maybe... No!"

Flower Fruit Mountain started to tear apart from the force of the Jade Emperor's power but with everyone's combined power, the Jade Emperor's power was sealed away in a magical prismatic lotus.

I rushed to MK once everything was cleared. "MK! You okay?"

MK smiles, looking at me. "Now that you're here, yep."
