Y/n's P.O.V
"Not another move!" Macaque exits the mech. "I'll give you two options. Option A I take the Samadhi fire, you do exactly what I say, and I don't have to do anything you'll regret. "
"Or option B." Macaque grabs me and Mei by the throat. "I cut you all down. Starting with them!"
"Put me down..." I coughed.
"Wait. Don't do this." Tang said.
"Tang. Do what I'm telling you to do! Your friend's life depends on it. Finish the ritual!" Macaque growls.
"All right. You win." Tang gives in.
Tang completed the ritual, a bright golden light blasting up the mountain.
Macaque dropped us, Mei seething in pain.
"No! Please, I-I wanna get off this ride!" Mei cries out, flames surrounding her body.
The flames melted off the ice on Macaque's body.
"Yes!" Macaque looks at his hands. "It worked."
I held my throat, hoping that the curse would be gone, but I was sadly wrong.
I guess when it only can be removed by the person that put it on you, there really is no other way to get rid of it.
"Stop!" Monkey King appears, along with Nezha only for Mei to be completely engulfed in flames. "No!"
"I'm too late. Kid!" Monkey King turns to MK.
"What? Mei?! What's happening?! Don't worry, I'm coming for ya! Someone get some water. Stop, drop, and roll, Mei!" MK tried to reach for her, only for Monkey King to push him out of the way.
"Mere water cannot extinguish the Samadhi Fire. Nothing can. The fire will destroy this girl and burn everything in its path." Nezha frees Sandy and Pigsy.
"What?!" Mei freaks out, the flames becoming stronger and more ferocious.
"Yeah, what?!" MK panics.
"You!" Monkey King turned to Macaque. "You ruined everything!"
Macaque tried to escape through a shadow portal, only for Monkey King to grab him at the last second.
"I didn't do this!" Macaque struggles in his grip.
Monkey King reels his fist back, preparing to punch Macaque. "Well, you weren't not involved!"
"Stop!" Tang shouts. "It was me! I mean, yeah Macaque forced me to do it, and I'm definitely starting to have second thoughts on the whole thing now but... I don't know how and I don't know why, I just felt like I had to... like it was... destiny."
Monkey King let's go of Macaque.
"I hate to interrupt but can someone explain what is going on?! What's happening to Mei?" MK gestures to the flaming ball of fire which was Mei.
"Okay, this is going to sound really bad, but hear me out." Monkey King spoke up.
"Wukong, what have you done?" Nezha glares at the Monkey Demon.
Monkey King rubs his head sheepishly. "I made a mistake. During the ritual, a piece of the Samadhi Fire got away from me. I don't know what happened, but I guess, part of it was sealed away in the closest vessel that could contain it. My loyal companion, the White Horse Dragon, Ao Lie."
"Mei's great, great, great, times a thousand great-grandfather!" Sandy gasps.
"Mei's the fourth ring, I wanted to tell you guys, but I couldn't." I coughed, coughing up more blood.
