Y/n's P.O.V
I opened my mouth to let out a sigh, but I started choking, struggling to breathe.

"Y/n, what's wrong? What's going on?" Mei asks from beside me.

Everyone, minus MK, surrounded me, trying to check on me.

I kept trying to speak, but I kept gasping for air, choking, before I started coughing violently.

After coughing, I felt like I could speak again.

"Don't worry about me, you don't need to." I waved them off.

"Then what's with the blood?" MK spoke up, pointing at my hands.

I shakily looked down at my hands, blood dripping off them.

I let out a nervous laugh before tears ran down my face. "It doesn't matter, I don't matter."

MK's P.O.V
I looked at Y/n in pure horror. I don't know what was scarier, the fact that she was coughing up blood, or the fact she said she didn't matter.

"Y/n, just tell us what's wrong, bud." Monkey King approached her.

"Don't touch me!" She backed away from him, coughing more.

"Y/n, please, we need to know." Mei said with a pleading look on her face.

"Fine." Y/n sighs weakly. "I'm cursed."

"What?" I looked at her worriedly.

"How did this happen?" Mr. Tamg asks her.

"Back when MK first learned the 72 transformations, Lady Bone Demon cursed me." Y/n explained. "It prevents me from talking about certain things, in this case, what's about to happen, and ice is slowly growing in my throat until I can't breathe anymore."

"There has to be some way to remove it." Sandy said in a concerned tone.

"There's no way to remove it, only Lady Bone Demon can." Y/n told us before turning away with her arms crossed.

I reached my hand out to her. "I'm sure we'll find a way, we can still fix this."

"Stop acting like you care." Y/n grumbles, facing away from me. "You made that very clear that you don't."

I pulled my hand away, frowning.

This is all my fault. She's in pain because of me.

All because of me and my stupid mouth.

Y/n's P.O.V
A few minutes passed riding the train in silence.

I sat by myself, not making eye contact with anybody.

Mr. Tang looked at Monkey King. "Um, so uh, Mr. King, sir, I don't wanna rush you or anything but--."

MK interrupted him. "I'm okay with rushing him. What's the plan, Monkey King? We've got all three Rings of Samadhi, so how do we use them to make the Lady Bone Demon go boom? Is there a switch or--."

"It's a bit more complicated than that. In order to reforge the Samadhi Fire we'll need to reach the summit of that mountain." Monkey King gestured to a mountain outside the window.

"Huh. And, uh, that's where we'll find the fourth ring eh? Ain't that right, Monkey King?" Pigsy glared at Monkey King.

"Fourth ring? W-what fourth ring?" MK looked confused.

Tang laughs. "Oh, Pigsy, I think you're confused. Monkey King said they split the Fire of Samadhi into three rings. Three rings hidden by the three great warriors, Monkey King, the Demon Bull King and--."
