I sat on the drone copter, typing away on my phone, texting the Spider Crew as MK and Mei trained.

Y/n-You guys need to stay put today, things are going to get bad.

Spider Queen-Alright, fine.

Syntax-Affirmative.

Huntsman-Ugh, do I have to?

Goliath-🫡👍.

I chuckled at their responses, but this feeling inside me was dread.

I've been dreading this moment the moment I came to this world, and I've failed at preventing it.

The only thing I can do right now is keep everyone safe, but I don't even know if I can do that.

I shoved my phone in my f/a bag, watching MK and Mei train while Pigsy made snacks, Sandy was helping Tang train by giving him a small barbell, but Tang immediately fell to the ground when he got a hold of it.

Leaning over the edge of the drone copter, I see MK turn into a giant version of himself, falling on top of Mei.

It's a good thing I have healing powers.

I healed MK and Mei from any injuries they might have gotten while training and Pigsy came out with a plate of snacks.

"Snack break!" Pigsy calls out.

Everyone gawked at the sight of the delicious-looking and smelling food.

"Happy tummy time." Sandy says as we all dig into our food.

"Looking good, Pigsy." Tang said, eating his food.

I frowned, looking at my food.

"You okay, Y/n?" MK sat beside me.

"Oh, yeah, I'm good, I'm fine." I shook my head, taking a bite of food.

"You sure? You seem kinda on edge today." MK pointed out.

"Trust me, MK, I'm fine, if something is wrong, I'll tell you." I told him.

"You better, or I'll have no choice but to tickle you." MK started tickling me, making me burst out laughing.

"M-MK, s-stop t-that, I can't breathe." I gasped.

After the tickle fiasco, we continued to eat, but then a blue beam shot up from the ground, startling us.

"That's probably not good." Mei spoke.

We all ran to the edge of the drone copter to see a mech sprouting from the ground.

The mech was snowy white, with a singular glowing red eye, and it had four legs.

"Spider Queen?" Mei guessed.

"No, it's not." I shook my head.

"It's something... worse." MK jumped off the drone copter to fight the mech.

"MK!" I tried to jump after him, but Sandy held me back. "Sandy, let me go, I have to help him."

"I'm sorry, Y/n, but you'll get hurt yourself." Sandy put me down.

I watched as MK used his powers, lighting his fists on fire, and punched the mech right in its eye, only for a blue sigil to appear as he went right through it, pushing the mech back.

"We have to help him!" I turned to the others.

"Come on!" Pigsy spoke.

"Right." Mei agrees.
