Y/n's P.O.V
Ah, Flower Fruit Mountain, what a wonderful place, and a wonderful time to be watching my lovable and adorable boyfriend and his mentor train, while this annoying inkling attached to me is running his mouth.Monkey King pulled out the staff with a flag attached to it, while MK looked tired. "Okay, Monkey Class is back in session?"
"Hmm, what?" MK blinks himself awake.
"Yeesh, he looks awful." Ink whispered in my ear.
"Shut up, or so help me, you will go in the jar for the rest of the day." I glared at him.
"Alright, shutting up." Ink said before attaching himself to my arm.
"You plant this Monkey Flag on your Monkey Mountain and you win. I plant it on my "Way Better Monkey Mountain" and I win! Ready?" Monkey King asked MK.
MK laughs, almost falling over in exhaustion. "Ohohoho, I've never been ready-er. No holding back, LE'GO!"
I walked over to MK, having him lean on my shoulder for support. "You sure you want to train right now? You know you haven't been getting much sleep lately."
"I'm fine, swee pea. Don't worry about me." MK kissed my cheek before smirking at Monkey King. "Now, less talky, more trainy, Monkey King. I already said the thing!"
"Backing up now, beat his butt, MK." I backed up.
Monkey King chuckles and threw the staff at MK.
MK whines. "What?! Hey! No fair! I thought it was "Keep-Aways", not "Throws-at-mes"! Well if you wanna play hard-ball, get ready to play har—."
I watched as Monkey King tried to snatch the staff away, but MK kicked him back and flew away on his cloud.
Monkey King starts to catch up to him while MK laughs manically.
"Woah, bud. You're getting so much faster." Monkey King compliments MK as they wrestled for the staff.
MK smirks. "Yeah, I--."
"But not fast enough!" Monkey King said before going for the flag again, but MK pushed him away again.
"Whoo! That's my boyfriend!" I cheered him on.
MK flew to his mountain laughing. "You were saying? Here... comes... Monkie--."
"...King!" Monkey King came in at the last second, throwing the flag and MK all the way to his mountain.
I made my way over to MK and helped him off the ground. "Okay, no scratches, cuts, or bruises. You're good."
"Hey, no fair! We said "no holding back", but you were holding back the whole time when I was right about to win." MK complains as Monkey King picked up the staff.
"Wow, bud. I was only holding back a teensy bit. We gotta keep something for you to look up to. Besides, I'm not the only one holding back. Maybe if you tapped into your full power, you'd have won!" Monkey King said.
I felt MK tense up against me.
"It's okay, MK." I rubbed his back. "I'm right here for you."
"Thanks." MK smiled softly while rubbing my hand.
"Yuck! You guys are so gross." Ink gags as he detached himself from me.
"Okay, that's it. Get in the jar." I pulled out a jar.
"But, I don't wannt." Ink whines.
"Now." I said sternly.
"Fine." Ink grumbles before going inside the jar while I sealed it shut and put it in my pocket.
