Y/n's P.O.V
So, I'm not dead. I was able to make amends with myself about that, and that I am in fact in the LMK world.

Immediately after getting here, Yin and Jin ran off after helping me, and then I ran into MK and Mei.

I got to know MK and Mei more, and they're quite fun.

We've been to the arcade multiple times, and I've beaten them multiple times in Monkey Mech.

The two were amazed at my gaming skills, even asking me to teach them my ways.

Then I was able to get hired by Pigsy as a chef, which also meant I had to save Mr. Tang multiple times from Pigsy.

Besides being a chef, Pigsy has asked me to go on deliveries with MK to make sure he gets them done.

I've already done lost track of time on how long I've been here, maybe a few months, I don't know.

When I got hired, I was also able to confirm that the events of the show hadn't even started yet.

So that's what I've been dreading all this time, the day DBK is freed and MK becomes Monkey King's successor.

And now, that day has come.

I sighed, listening to Mr. Tang tell MK the story of how Monkey King sealed DBK away under a mountain while making a bowl of noodles.

"Oh, that's so good! Monkey King's so cool! He's so strong and handsome--." MK laughs. "He's awesome, right Y/n?"

"Uh..." I dragged out, knowing what a pain he was in the show, but I held my tongue. "Yes, yes he is."

"Oh, MK, Y/n. And you two thought you knew all the Monkey King stories." Mr. Tang chuckles.

"Not really, just the ones that hold vital information." I told him.

"Oh, but I do. I got his whole life documented extensively in this unauthorized autobiography of Monkey King. Written and illustrated by yours truly. Like I knew he was born from a stone, and lives behind a waterfall with his sweet little baby monkey friends! And- and- and oh!" MK went through his book.

"It's nice to know someone's taking in all these stories. Pearls of wisdom, dripping from my lips." Mr. Tang clears his throat, looking at me. "Well, you know the deal: one story, one free bowl of Zha jiang mian. Hmm?"

"Oh no, no noodles for you Mr. Tang unless you pay for them." I held the bowl away from him.

"Huh? Oh right, free noodles! Yep, on it. How heavy do you think a mountain is? Compare to like--" MK attempted to grab the bowl from me, only to have a spoon thrown at him.

"Free noodles?!" Pigsy appears, taking the bowl from me, glaring at Mr. Tang. "No one gets a free meal at Pigsy's! I'm not running a charity here, Tang!"

"Ah, but Pigsy. I was paying with wisdom." Tang tells the angry pig.

"Yeah? Well, wisdom don't pay the rent, you freeloader! And you!" Pigsy points angrily at MK. "You've been slacking off all morning, Y/n has been the only one working! I've got a dozen orders that need to go out, so quit slacking and get packing!"

"Yeah. I was about to take my break. So..." MK rubs his head.

"Break? Break?! There's no break in war! I need workers. Soldiers in the army of Pigsy's Noodles, home of the world's longest noodles. How else am I gonna expand my business into enemy territory?" Pigsy says, crossing his arms.

"Jeez Pigsy, all you have to do is talk, and make friends, and once you're friends, you can slowly tear them apart from the inside." I said the last part darkly, making the others stare at me. "What?"
