After the fight with the Brotherhood, I went to Flower Fruit Mountain to wrap my head around everything.

I left because I didn't want to hurt my friends.

I didn't want to hurt Y/n.

I didn't want her to see what a monster I was.

Now, I'm playing some tacky-looking game with bad art that Macaque made.

Macaque said that it's supposed to teach me a lesson, but I don't even know what the heck I'm looking at.

Video game-"Yo, how's it going? It's me, Macaque, or rather the Six-Eared Macaque is, you know, my full name."

"Uh, what am I looking at right now?" I raised a brow at the game.

Video game-"On your journey, you'll see that it's the choices you make that determine who you are."

"I know your latest discovery has thrown you for a loop. Between that and Azure and the Lady Bone Demon trying to get inside your head... You know what? Just play the game. That'll teach you everything you need to know, for once. Besides, I put a lot of work into this." Macaque told me, leaning back on the couch.

"Oh, yeah, no, I can definitely see that." I said.

Y/n's P.O.V
After a bit more training, I decided to take a break, and Ink was sitting beside me.

"Why did you decide to help us?" I asked Ink.

"I don't know, guess I was bored." Ink shrugged.

"Cut the crap, you helped find Tang in the scroll, helped fight all those hungry demons, as well as helping disguise me from the hungry demon, and helped fight the Brotherhood." I said to him. "Now tell me why you helped us."

Ink sighs. "I guess I was just tired of making others relive their worst memories, you might think that's not true, but I'm only a part of the curse, and when I got stuck on your arm, I took it as an opportunity to escape the scroll from the rest of the curse."

"I get, you didn't want to hurt people anymore, and when you saw the opportunity to stop, you took it." I looked at him.

"I just don't want to go back in the scroll, forced to make people hurt." Ink looked off to the side.

"Don't worry." I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm not gonna let that happen."

"Wow, that's the first nice thing you said about me, and didn't try to kill me." Ink laughs

I chuckled. "Well, to be fair, my mind was all over the place inside the scroll with everything going on, I just didn't get the chance to realize."

"Touché." Ink shrugged.

After taking a break, all of us were meditating, even Ink, while the sounds of chaos were heard from the Heavens above.

Mei twinged and started to walk away.

"And just where do you think you're going?" Subodhi asks her.

"We can't just keep sitting here meditating or whatever! We gotta get up there and stop Azure." Mei gestures to the sky where a flashing of lights could be seen.

"You are not ready." Subodhi said, and Mei pointed her sword at him.

"Mei! What are you doing, raising a blade to the great Shifu Subodhi?" Tang freaks out.

"What's your deal, guy?! We are so ready to go and end this!" Mei growls.

"Still, you have learned nothing. If you leave now, you will be walking into the embrace of your own demise." Subodhi says to us.
