A Dream Come True

Chapter 30: Jet Lagged

They enter the dorm to blaring music, the dorm is big and open, like the hotel room was. A kitchen on one side, dining area in the middle, and on the other side was the living room. To the right of the elevator doors was a hallway leading to bedrooms and bathrooms. Chan and Leeknow were in the kitchen making a mess while trying to cook; Han, Felix, Changbin and Suengmin were sitting on the couch playing Mario Kart. While Jeongin was jumping on a mini trampoline next to the couch cheering and booing for the ones playing the game.

Clarissa and Izzy look at each other with wide eyes as Hyunjin goes to use the restroom. What did they get themselves into. Living with 8 men. A girl then comes walking down the hallway, she also has red hair. Not orange red like Clarissa, but a ruby red. She smiles at Clarissa and Izzy, opening her arms for a hug. "We hug around here." She says with a smile.

Clarissa and Izzy go in for the hug. "I'm Renee. It's nice to meet you." She says as she starts to pull away from the group hug.

"So, you live here?" Izzy asks.

"No, I just come visit from time to time. It'll be nice to have other girls around when I do come by." She says excitedly.

"That's for sure." Izzy says while looking around the room. "Is it always like this?"

"Not all the time. There are some days where it's nice and quiet." She chuckles.

"NOOOOO. WHAT THE HELL CHANGBIN." Felix yells getting up from the couch. "You cheated! I totally would've won if you weren't holding onto that red shell." Felix looks up and sees Izzy, he trots towards her and tackles her with a bear hug. "I've missed you!" He says while squeezing her tight. "Come with me." He whispers in her ear and grabs her hand.

"I guess I'll be back." Izzy says with a nervous but excited smile to Clairssa.

Clarissa nods and is left alone with Renee.

"What happened to you?" She asks with a caring tone in her voice.

"I got in a car accident. It's a long story."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you make a full recovery quickly." She gives Clarissa another hug.

"Come ooonn. Play with us! I promise I won't cheat." Changbin says crossing his heart.

"I'm not that good. You're all gonna kick my ass." Jeongin says stressed.

"Okay okay. I'll take Felix's place." Renee says as she grabs the controller. "You're all gonna lose though. I know the ins and outs of Mario Kart. Get ready to eat my dust." She says sitting in between the two boys.

Jeongin then sees Clarissa standing alone by the elevator. "She looks nervous." He thinks to himself. He approaches Clarissa slowly, getting her attention. "Hey. Welcome to our home. I hope you'll find it warm and welcoming."

"I'm sure I will. I've never been to Korea before. I can't even speak Korean but have been wanting to learn. I'm just culture shocked, that's all. It'll just take some time to get used to it."

Hyunjin comes out of the restroom and sees Clarissa where he left her. He goes to the Jeongin and Clarissa, joining their conversation.

"How are you feeling?" Jeongin asks her.

"I'm feeling alright. It'll only take time for everything to be working properly again." She chuckles. "Thank you for asking." She smiles at him.

"You're welcome." He gives her a side half hug and goes back to the living room sitting on the other couch that's empty.

"So, your thoughts?" Hyunjin asks as he guides her to his room. 

"I wasn't expecting so much to be going on at one time when I got here." She follows him into the room and plops on the bed.

"I can't believe I have to stay awake for what seems like hours just to adjust my body to the new time zone. It's gonna be rough." She sighs looking up to the ceiling.

"It'll be okay. Once you're adjusted, you won't even remember the struggle." Hyunjin lays next to her on the bed and looks up at the ceiling also.

"How do you guys know Renee?" Clarissa asks turning her head to Hyunjin.

Hyunjin laughs, brushing his fingers through his hair. "Chan met her a little before we debuted. He ran into her one day while walking down the street. He was walking past a coffee shop, and Renee ended up walking out at the right time. She ran into him with her hot coffee and spilled it all over his shirt." Hyunjin starts laughing, recalling the time when Chan came home with a coffee stain on his white button down shirt. "It was hilarious. After that she took him out to dinner to make up for her clumsy accident. Ever since then she's been trying to jump his bones and get with him. His head is just too far up his ass, and is so focused on working that he doesn't realize how good she is for him. She used to live in the states, but moved to Korea about 5 years ago."

"But I thought dating wasn't necessarily allowed for you guys?" She says a little sad.

"I mean, we can't show our relationship to the public. As long as Stay doesn't know, it's okay." He says reaching for her hand. "And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Felix and Izzy become a thing. Felix hasn't really stopped talking about her. He missed her a lot. Do you know if they slept with each other?" Hyunjin asks raising an eyebrow to Clarissa.

"I don't think so. If she has, she hasn't told me anything." Clarissa shrugs, looking deep into Hyunjins brown eyes, and yawns.

"I think I wanna take like, an hour nap. Please wake me up." She says to Hyunjin.

"Okay baby." He kisses her on the cheek and leaves the room letting her get comfortable.

Clarissa smiles and joyfully kicks her legs. She's so happy to be here. She still can't believe that she is with the one and only Hyunjin. She curls up in his bed under the covers, heart and stomach full of butterflies. She closes her eyes and falls asleep with happy thoughts.
