Chapter 51: A Cramped Situation

The van pulls up to their new location. It's located in a rural city called Andong. It was a small, old rundown village house. It was still kept together, but they could tell that history has happened here.

Everyone gets out of the car, grabs their belongings and starts to head inside the house. Clarissa starts to follow the others into the house when she feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns around sees JYP. "Let me see your phone." He says while holding out his hand. Clarissa reaches into her back pocket and hands him her phone. JYP pulls a flip phone out of his pocket and gives it to her. "This is going to be your phone until we get this issue resolved. The emergency staff number is on speed dial. We don't know if he is tracking your phone so we will be holding onto it just in case he follows you. We're wanting to take all precautions." Clarissa nods, "Thank you." She says and bows to JYP to say goodbye. JYP bows and gets back into the car.

Clarissa turns around and looks at the set of the stairs that lead up to the house. There weren't very many, but they were tall. She sighs, dreading the thought of carrying her bags up the stairs. She manages to get her bags up the stairs and in the house. She enters into a living room with a closed floor plan. The floors were beige wood color with brown walls. Across from the door was a little entryway that led to the kitchen. She sees the boys, Renee and Izzy together in a circle. Everyone talking at once, rather loudly.

"Okay. Everyone calm down. I know that this place is small, but we have to make it work for everyone's safety." Chan says loudly so everyone can hear him over the chatter. Clarissa sits on the couch and listens to the conversation. "Now, I know that there's only three bedrooms. We're going to have to share." Chan says sternly. "Three bedrooms?!" Clarissa thinks to herself, running her hand across her forehead. "Since everyone can't decide who's sharing with who, I'll do it for you." Everyone sighs and pouts, upset that they don't get their rooms like it was back at home. Chan tells everyone to line up so he can put them in groups. He gestures to Clarissa to join in the line. Clarissa squeezes her way in the line next to Hyunjin.

"Now let's see. Leeknow, Felix, Izzy and Suengmin will be in one room." The three nod, none of them have any complaints, knowing that if they said anything Chan would get upset. "The next room will be Changbin, Renee and I." Again, Renee and Changbin nod in agreement. "The last room will be Hyunjin, Clarissa and Jeongin." Hyunjin and Clarissa nod, while Jeongin gives Hyunjin a glare. "What about me?" Han asks. "You will have the couch, since you can sleep pretty much anywhere." Han takes himself to the couch and claims is spot.

"Now do I need to tell you guys which rooms you're going to get, or can you all agree on one as a team?" Chan asks with his eyebrows raised. "No, I think we can do it." Leeknow decides to answer for everybody. The three groups split up and decide which rooms they're going to take.

Hyunjin and his group chose the second largest bedroom. Clarissa exits the room to find the bathroom. "Where are we all going to sleep?" Jeongin asks Hyunjin. Hyunjin gives him a confused look. "Clarissa and I are going to take the bed. Maybe we can find some extra blankets to give you some extra padding on the floor." Hyunjin starts looking in drawers of the dresser. Jeongin huffs in irritation.

"What's your problem?" Hyunjin asks him as he is now looking in the closet for blankets. "Nothing." Jeongin answers him with attitude. "Whatever. If you don't want to tell me, fine. Just don't have an attitude the whole time you are here please." Hyunjin finds the blankets in the back on top of the closet shelf and hands them to him. Jeongin snatches them out of his hands.

Clarissa enters the room and sighs. "Well, there's only one bathroom in this place." She plops on the bed and lays on her back. "That sucks. I'm sure we'll be able to make it work though." Hyunjin says sitting next to her. Jeongin sets up his bed on the floor not looking at the two. Clarissa starts to feel the tension from him, and feels uncomfortable.

"THERE'S NO FOOD!" Changbin yells from the kitchen. Han gets up from the couch, and goes to the kitchen. "I'll ask Chan if he's okay with me running to the store. I'm sure there's one close by." Han goes to find Chan who is aril getting him and Renee situated while Leeknow is making his bed on the floor. "There's no food in the kitchen. I searched it on my phone and there's a store that's like a twenty minute walk from here. Is it okay if I go get some for us?" Han asks the leader. "That's fine. Just please be careful." Han nods and turns around to tell Changbin that he'll be back.

"Where are you going?" Han hears Clarissa ask him as he opens the door. "There's no food in the kitchen so I'm walking to the store to get some." Clarissa holds up her finger as if to say 'one second'. Clarissa finds Chan in his room. "Can I go with Han to the store? There's some tension in my room that I'm not liking and want it to air out." She can tell that Chan wants to say no, but he rubs the back of his neck and sighs as he says, "I guess. Just be careful." Clarissa nods and goes back to Han.

"I'm coming with you." She tells him. Han shrugs and they both exit the house, not knowing what is in store for them.

Authors Note: I am so sorry that I haven't been as active. I am still settling into my new place and am currently looking for a job and doing all of the little things that go with a move. Thank you for being patient with me, I will do my best to be as active as I can.
