Chapter 34: Ready to meet JYP?

Hyunjin wakes up before Clarissa does, as usual. He looks at her, sleeping so soundly. He smiles as his heart races just from the sight of her. He kisses her forehead and gets out of bed. He goes to the kitchen to start making egg rice for everyone. A simple but tasty Korean dish.

"Good morning." Chan says as he enters the kitchen, taking a seat at the counter. "What are you making?"

"Egg rice."

"Oooh. I haven't had that in a while. Mind if I help? Renee ended up staying the night last night, so we have 11 people to cook for."

"Yeah, I don't mind. Renee stayed the night? She doesn't really ever do that. She's usually gone by 8 at night." Hyunjin says looking at Chan confused.

"Yeah, she did. She had a few bottles of wine last night. I wasn't gonna allow her to drive home drunk. I took her keys and hid them to ensure that. She stayed in bed with me. Not gonna lie, it was nice to have someone to cuddle with. She's been giving me butterflies lately too. I may just keep her keys so she stays here." He laughs, as he starts to cook the eggs.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, I think you and Renee would be great for each other. You've known her for 5 years, and you guys see each other all the time. I see the way she looks at you. She's longing for you, and she's just hoping that you come around." Hyunjin says with raised eyebrows as he starts to plate the rice.

"I'm now realizing that we would be perfect for each other. I'm just afraid that our relationship will get out, and what JYP would think." He finishes the eggs and puts them on top of the rice on each dish.

"JYP did let Clarissa and I be together. I don't know why it would be any different with you. You should ask him and see what he says. The worst he could say is no. I'm actually going there today with Clarissa so she can meet him. You can tag along with us if you would like." Hyunjin puts the prepared dishes along the counter that way it's ready for whoever wakes up.

"You know what, I will." Chan smiles as he takes his dish to the table. "I'll get ready to go after I'm done eating."

Hyunjin nods and takes two dishes. One for him and one for Clarissa. He enters the room and sees Clarissa texting someone on her phone.

"Who is that Clary baby?" He asks as he hands her her breakfast.

"Baby huh?" She blushes as she takes the food.

"We are together now. Remember?" He chuckles as he takes a bite.

"I know I know. It'll just take some getting used to. I'm glad to call you my boyfriend." She gets butterflies in her stomach just from the fact that she can call him her boyfriend. She's over the moon.

"So, girlfriend," he winks, "who were you talking to?"

"This guy that I knew in middle school. His name is Dakota. He messaged me on Facebook. We were kind of close friends, not nearly as close as Izzy and I are. He just wanted to catch up I guess. I told him that I'm in Korea now and in a relationship. I didn't say who though, you know for obvious reasons."

Hyunjin nods and finishes chewing his food. "Do you want to go meet JYP today?" He asks Clarissa as he finishes his breakfast.

"That makes me nervous, but yeah sure. I feel like I don't have a choice." She chuckles as she also finishes her food.

"No, you don't babe." He holds out his hand for her empty dish and she hands it to him. "Oh, Chan is going with us. He wants to talk to JYP about something."

"Okay, that's fine. It'll make me feel more comfortable I think." She giggles. "I'll go ahead and take a shower and start getting ready." Hyunjin nods and exits the room.

He takes the dishes to the kitchen and washes them, Chan still sitting at the table. "She's getting ready to go now. Obviously you have time. I think she may try to dress nice to give off a good first impression. She's nervous."

"Hell, I don't blame her one bit. I'd be nervous too. She's dating a KPop idol, and she's going to meet his boss." Chan finishes his food and washes his dish as well since Hyunjin had just finished his.

"Yeah, that's a good point. I guess I'll dress nice too." Hyunjin goes back into the bedroom and enters into the bathroom where Clarissa is taking a shower. He strips out of his clothes and hops in the shower with her. Clarissa jumps from being startled.

"God damn it Hyunjin. You scared the shit out of me. You know, a lot of women get attacked in horror movies while they're in the shower."

"I'm sorry. I don't really watch horror movies. I'll make myself more known next time." He hugs her from behind and leaves soft kisses on the top of her shoulder that has the broken clavicle.

Clarissa smiles and rests her head back onto his shoulder. He then starts to kiss her neck. "I've been wanting to fuck you, but with your broken clavicle I've been holding myself back." He whispers in her ear. She shivers from his breathy whisper, and turns her head to kiss his lips. She moans against them, biting his lip. "It's okay. I trust you."
