A Dream Come True

Chapter 31: First Time for Everything

Hyunjin leaves the room, and lets Danger out of the cage so he can start exploring his new home.

"Come here please Hyunjin." Chan calls him from the kitchen. Hyunjin sits at the counter.

"Yes?" Hyunjin asks folding his arms.

"How did everything go with picking her up?" Chan asks as he finishes making dinner.

"Everything went fine. Other than the car accident. She has a concussion, some stitches and a broken clavicle."

"Damn. That sucks. At least she's okay though and nothing too bad happened. Dinner will be ready soon. Will she be eating with us? I did make extra just cause I wasn't sure." Chan asks raising an eyebrow.

"She laid down for a nap. When it's ready I'll go see if she's wanting to eat." Hyunjin pauses for a minute. "Uhm, thanks for letting her come and allowing her to be here."

Chan nods with a half smile and continues cooking dinner.

A few minutes pass and Jeongin starts setting the table.

"Will you go get everyone for dinner." Chan asks Hyunjin.

Hyunjin nods and goes to get Felix, Clarissa and Izzy. He decides to go get Felix and Izzy first. He lifts his hand to knock on the door but freezes. He hears Izzy and Felix panting hard and some moans. His jaw drops and he puts his hand over his mouth. He briskly walks away and into his room. He leans against his door for a short moment trying to collect his thoughts. "I mean, it's not like I wasn't expecting this. I knew eventually things would escalate with them. Just not so soon after she got here."

Hyunjin sits on the edge of the bed and strokes Clarissa's face with his index finger. She smiles at his touch and opens her eyes, rolling onto her back to look at him. "Dinner is ready."

"What are we having?"

"Kimbap." He answers while playing with her hair.

"Well, it's a first time everything." She says sitting up from the pillow, tossing her legs to the side of the bed to stand up. She walks out of the room with Hyunjin following, and he stops. "I'll meet you in there." He says to her, again going to Felix's room.

He approaches the door and listens. He doesn't hear anything. He nervously knocks.

"Yes?" Felix answers the door, dressed, but his hair is messed up with red in his cheeks. Izzy is sitting on the bed dressed as well, but also looks disheveled.

"Dinner is ready, but perhaps you'd like to have dessert considering you've already had dinner." Hyunjin says gesturing towards Izzy, who's lost in the conversation due to her not knowing Korean.

Felix's face turns more red than it was before and his eyes widen. He then smiles and laughs a little. "You knew it was coming. We'll be out in just a moment for dinner."

Hyunjin nods and goes to the kitchen. He sees everyone already sitting down, with an open seat next to Clarissa and Leeknow. He sits down and everybody waits for Felix and Izzy.

"You could've just said sushi rolls." Clarissa whispers in his ear with a giggle. "I like sushi." She says. Hyunjin looks at her and smiles. "Good to know." He rests his hand on her thigh.

"Where's Felix and Izzy?" Changbin asks starting to make his plate.

"They'll be here in a minute. They were, uhm, indecent?" Hyunjin says to the group.

Everyone's eyes widen and mouths slightly open, including Renee's who was sitting close to Chan. The room goes silent as Felix and Izzy walk in and take their seats.

"What's going on?" Felix asks.

"Nothing. We were just talking and waiting for you." Seungmin says with pink cheeks.

Felix shakes his head knowing that everyone knows, and the others start making their plates.

"What happened?" Izzy asks Clarissa.

"I have no idea. We gotta learn Korean fast though." She chuckles at Izzy across from the table.

"You can speak Korean?" Han asks Clarissa as he starts eating.

"No. I've been wanting to learn for a while though. I guess this is as a good of a time as any." She shrugs and starts eating her food too.

"I can help you guys." Renee sparks up and starts giving tips and tricks on how to learn it quickly. "If you have any questions or anything though when I'm not here, I'm sure Chan can help you out." She says looking at him with a sparkle in her eyes, resting her hand on his thigh. Clarissa can see that Chan is annoyed just from the look on his face, but doesn't look uncomfortable.

"Yeah, that's if I'm not too busy at the time. You also have everyone else though. I'm sure everyone would be more than willing to help you." Chan answers.

Leeknow looks on the ground between him Hyunjin and sees Danger.

"OH MY GOD. A kitty!!" He reaches down and pets Danger.

"You knew the cat was coming Leeknow." Jeongin says with a snicker and a smile.

"That's Danger." Hyunjin answers, petting the cat as well.

"Danger huh. He's not dangerous is he?" Suengmin asks.

"Only sometimes."  Clarissa laughs. "You never know what kind of mood he's in."

"So I talked to our staff and they're working on getting your parents moved here. They should be starting everything tomorrow." Hyunjin says looking at Clarissa.

"I'm actually not sure if I want to do that anymore. I thought about it and I just don't want to disturb them. They've been there for four years, and I know that they'll always be with me in spirit."

"Do you want me to cancel it?"

"If it's not too late, yes please."

Hyunjin pulls out his phone and sends a text to one of the staff members.

"Done." He puts his phone away and sees that Clarissa's plate is empty. "Are you done?"

"Yes."

Hyunjin takes both of their plates and washes them in the sink. He grabs Clarissa by her hand and takes them to the bedroom.

"Where are we going?" She asks as she's dragged by him.

"Well, there's no other way to learn Korean sitting here."

They sit on the bed in the bedroom and he starts teaching her the basics.
