Chapter 35: Marks, Approvals and a Plan

Clarissa puts on a black silk shirt, with a pair of jean short shorts. She then throws on some Nike sneakers. "I'm ready to go." She says to Hyunjin. They exit the bedroom and go out into the living room area where Chan is sitting on the couch waiting for them.

"I feel like I've been waiting forever." Chan says looking at both of them. He raises his eyebrows at Clarissa.

"What?" She says confused.

Chan points to the side of his neck. Hyunjin looks over to Clarissa, and clears his throat before whispering in her ear. "I marked you." Clarissa's eyes widen and she runs to the bathroom to cover up.

"That explains why I was waiting for so long." Hyunjin turns red. "Was this your first time with her?"

"Actually no. If I'm gonna be honest, the first time was back in the US."

Chan again raises his eyebrows. "You did that even though I told you to not get too attached."

"I couldn't help myself. She's beautiful. She makes me feel special and needed. I love her Chan."

Chan is too stunned to speak. He can't believe that Hyunjin just said that he loves her. Clarissa enters into the room and stands next to Hyunjin.

"Does it look better now? I tried to cover it as well as I could."

Hyunjin and Chan both nod. "It looks better." Chan says. "I hope the sex was worth it." Chan chuckles as Clarissa turns red.

"It's okay Clary baby. I told Chan everything. He knows that it wasn't our first time together."

"Does he know that I'm your girlfriend?" She asks.

"He does now."

"I kind of already figured that." Chan shrugs.

They start heading down to the first floor.

"Does anyone else know about us?" Clarissa asks.

"No, I don't think so." Hyunjin says as they get outside and get in the company car. "Good job on your Korean. You're doing really well."

"Thank you." Clarissa says smiling.

They arrive at the JYP building and go up the elevator to his office. They knock on the door. "Come in." They hear a male voice on the other side of the door. They enter and each of them bow for their greeting.

JYP gets out of seat. "Ahh. This must be the wonderful Clarissa. I hear you got our boy Hyunjin stir crazy for you." Both Hyunjin and Clarissa turn red.

"I guess so." She says shrugging while looking at Hyunjin with a smile.

"I can see why. You're stunning." He says as he studies her features. "As long as you treat him good and keep things quiet, I'm okay with this. If you being here helps him focus with his career, then I'm all for it." JYP says clasping his hands together.

"I wanted to talk to you about something." Chan says, stepping in the conversation. JYP looks at him with an attentive look. "I was wondering if I could date someone."

"I never pinned you for wanting to be in a romantic relationship." JYP says folding his arms.

"Believe me, I didn't either. I've known this girl for a long time now, and my feelings for her are starting to creep up on me. I want to be there for her. I care about her."

JYP nods his head and puts his hand under his chin as if he was thinking. "Well, if you truly want to do this, you just gotta do the same as Hyunjin and Clarissa. Just keep it on the down low and focus on your work. I'm okay with this."

Chans eyes light up and he smiles. "Thank you sir."

They bow as they all exit the room.

"Well that wasn't so bad." Clarissa says as they start to enter into the car to go back to the dorm.

"I don't know why you were so nervous. He approved of us before you got here." Hyunjin chuckles. "So Chan, what are you gonna do about Renee now?"

"I have a plan." He says rubbing his hands together with an evil smile.

They arrive in the parking lot of the dorms, and get in the elevator. Hyunjin and Clarissa are holding hands while Chan is impatiently tapping his foot. "OH MY GOD. This elevator seems to be taking longer than usual." He says groaning. The elevator doors open. Chan briskly exits the elevator and sees Renee sitting on the couch with her phone.

Chan walks up to her, puts both of his hands on each side of her face, and kisses her deeply.
