Chapter 53: "She's Mine Now"

Clarissa stands there frozen, mouth hanging open. Jeongin looks at her, wanting her to say something. Clarissa starts to feel claustrophobic from the small room with multiple people in it. She starts to breathe heavily. Hyunjin goes to comfort her but she steps away from him and goes outside to the open air, closing the door as she exits.

Hyunjin looks at Chan who is still sitting on the couch. "I want to switch rooms. Either Clarissa and I do, or Jeongin does. I'm not comfortable rooming with him at the moment." Chan looks at Hyunjin slightly annoyed. "It's not like Jeongin is going to make any moves on her." Chan says as he stands up from the couch. Hyunjin huffs and pulls Chan up off of the couch. "Put yourself in my shoes Chan. How would you feel if you found out that Changbin had feelings for Renee and they're in the same room together? You know she is-" Hyunjin catches himself from announcing her pregnancy, instead he raises his eyebrows as he widens his eyes. Chan looks at him and nods.

"Fine, however I have no idea who is willing to switch with you or Jeongin." Chan shrugs as he folds his arms. Han pops his head around the corner. "I'll do it." He chimes in as he raises his hand, also showing it around the corner. "That means that you would be on the couch. Is that okay with you Jeongin?" Chan asks him. Jeongin nods his head but has a defeated look on his face. "I'll go get my things out of the room and move it out here." Jeongin exits the room to go get his belongings.

"I'm making gilgeori toast. Does anyone want some?" Han asks from the kitchen loudly as he is no longer peeking around the corner. "Let me go find out who all wants one." Chan hollers back to him. Chan looks at Hyunjin waiting for an answer on the toast. Hyunjin nods in agreement. He's not really in the mood to eat, but he knows that he should. "I'll go ask Clarissa if she wants one." Hyunjin heads out the front door.

Chan goes to his room to ask Renee and Changbin. "Han is making gilgeori toast. Any of you want any?" He looks at Renee with a look. A look that says, 'you really should eat', as he glances at her stomach. "That sounds good! I'll have one yes." Changbin answers with excitement in his voice as he finishes settling on the floor in the room. "Babe? What about you?" He asks, still looking at Renee. Renee sighs and approaches Chan. "I'm not really hungry." She whispers in his ear. Chan sighs in annoyance and pinches his eyes together with his fingers. He starts to respond quietly, "You really need to eat. I know that it's hard right now. However, since you're having a hard time holding down food, you still need to try to eat something. This isn't healthy for you or the.." Chan stops to look at Changbin, "the baby." Chan says in a more quiet tone than before. Renee sighs and nods in agreement. "Okay. I'll try to eat one." Chans face relaxes as he kisses her cheek. "That's my girl." He whispers in her ear.

Chan goes to find the others to ask about the food. He finds Leeknow and Suengmin on the floor in their room playing Jenga. "Han is making gilgeori toast. Do you guys want some?" They both nod as they intensely play their game. "Where's Felix and Izzy so I can ask them?" Suengmin and Leeknow look around the room, then at each other. "I have no idea. I didn't even know they weren't in here." Seungmin says with a shrug, looking at Chan. "I'm with Seungmin on this one. I have no idea where they are." Leeknow says as he finishes his turn.

Chan walks down the hall a little and passes by the bathroom. He stops in his tracks and takes a couple steps back and listens through the door. He hears the shower running with some quiet breathy moans with a subtle smacking sound. "Well, I found Felix and Izzy." He thinks to himself as he chuckles and continues his way down the hall.

He finds Jeongin packing his things up to move them out of the room. "How long have you had feelings for Clarissa?" Chan asks him as he folds his arms and leans on the doorway. Jeongin huffs and looks at him. "For a while now. I want to say from the first day that she moved here, but I'm not entirely sure. I noticed it the first time Dakota came around." Jeongin picks up his bag and squeezes by Chan to go to his new sleeping spot.

Chan follows him to the room. "Han is making gilgeori toast. Would you like some?" Jeongin nods in agreement and starts to situate himself in the living room.

Chan goes to the kitchen to let him know of the people that want one. "Make one for Felix and Izzy too. I wasn't able to ask them, but I have a feeling that they'll want some." He adds after mentioning everyone else. "What about Hyunjin and Clarissa?" Han looks at Chan questionably. Chan shrugs. "Hyunjin said that he wanted one, he went outside to see if Clarissa wanted one and he hasn't been back yet." Han freezes in his tracks and stops what he's doing. "How long ago did he go outside?" Han asks. "Mmmm. I think a few minutes ago. Long enough that I thought he would be back by now." Han pushes his way through Chan and heads out the front door. He hears Hyunjin calling for Clarissa.

Han approaches Hyunjin with worry all over his face. "You can't find Clarissa?" Han asks. Hyunjin turns around. Distraught, sadness and worry painted all over his face. "No! I have no idea where she is. I can't even call her cause JYP has her phone." Hyunjin starts to break out in tears as his phone goes off in his pocket. He pulls it out and sees a video message from an unknown number.

He unlocks his phone and opens the video. It's Clarissa. She's blindfolded with duct tape over her mouth. She's also tied up to a bed, dressed only in her under garments. Hyunjin puts his hand over his mouth and drops to the ground on his knees, his heart is filled with complete agony. He starts to cry out loudly and hyperventilate. He receives another text.
