Are you happy

Tim was shocked and confused. He went back to the station. He left Lucy at Angela's. Lucy leaves for 5 years and comes back with a fiancé and twins. But he was also sad that he wasn't Lucy's fiancé and the father of her kids. Tim is still in love with Lucy.

It was now a few weeks later. Lucy and Tim were on patrol together again. They were at the food trucks for lunch. All their friends were there as well. Lucy and Tim are now on better terms. It is still a bit awkward between them. But they can work normally together.
L- so ange are we still on for tonight.
A- yes we are. Oh and I also invited Amelia.
L- oh yes I heard she is back from a UC op.
T- who is Amelia?
L- she is my best friend from San Diego.
A- speaking of San Diego, look behind you.

Lucy turned around and saw Blake standing there. She gave him a hug, because she didn't want to PDA in her uniform.
L- omg Blake, what are you doing here?
B- hey, I wanted to see my fiancé. Is that a crime?
L- no of course not, I'm just surprised.
Angela stood up and also gave Blake a hug.
B- it is good to see you again Angela. How are Wesley and Jackson?
A- yes, both are good.
T- hi Blake? I'm Tim.
L- Blake, Tim Bradford he was my TO. And I'm riding with him for now.

Back in the shop with Lucy and Tim:

They didn't talk much to each other. Shift was over and Lucy was headed home and then to Angela's for dinner. But first she needed some time with her fiancé.
L- hey honey.
B- hey babe. How was your day?
L- oh just as I remember from my rookie year. Same old Tim.
B- he really is an ass. I don't know how you can keep up with him.
L- he isn't that bad. At first maybe. But he can be a big softie.
B- but let's forget about him. I haven't seen my fiancé over a month.
L- yea about that, have you decided yet if you are moving to LA?
B- I'm sorry but I can't leave San Diego. It holds too much memories.
L- but I'm not leaving LA either.
B- so what are we doing?
L- I don't know. But I can't live like this. My soon to be husband not even in the same city.
B- well why don't we look for another option.
L- there isn't another option Blake. We both won't move from where we are living now. And I have to think about MY children, both the twins and Tamara.
B- well what is even the point anymore. If we both aren't risking it. What is even the point Lucy.
L- you really wanna do it like this. Just because you are scared to try something new. Okay if that is how it's going to be. Than yes what is even the point. Here you have my ring back. And have a save flight home asshole.
B- bye Lucy.

When he closed the door behind him she fell down and broke down into tears. That wasn't what she wanted. Even though she knows that it wasn't going to work with her living in LA. She cried until she heard a knock on the door. She hoped he would come back and say he would move for her. But when she opened her door she was a bit shocked to see Tim standing there.
T- hi I'm sorry it is late. But I wanted to apologize about tod- wait Lucy are you crying?
L- Tim please could you just leave me alone. I need to be at Angela's in the next 15 mins my kids are already there and I just.
T- I will leave when you tell me why you are crying.
L- okay you really want to know? Blake and I broke things off. We both realized that none of us was going to move for the other.
T- what oh Luce. You deserve someone who would move everything aside just for you.

As Tim said that he walked towards her and gave her ar hug.
T- now dry those tears. And go have dinner with your family.
L- thank you Tim. I really appreciate it.
T- now go, I did my part of apologizing so now go be the great momma you are.

Tim left and Lucy just thought about telling him that he is actually their dad. But she shook the thought of telling him away and went to Angela's house.
A- hey there you are, finally. I was about to call grey that you are missing. Where is Blake?
L- so about that, Blake and I are done. We both realized it wouldn't work. We both didn't want to move. And we just had a whole fight about it. That was why it took me so long.
Amy- I'm so sorry to hear that Luce.

Both her friends gave her a big hug. And her twins joined them without knowing the reason.

A few months later. The twins had started school. Tim and Lucy were okay again. After Tim comforted her they actually became friends again. Tamara was going to babysit the twins while Lucy was at work. But Tamara had an important appointment, so the kids now had to stay at the station.
M- mommy I'm hungry.
J- mommy we want to eat now.
L- I know honey, if you just wait a little while I can get you some food.
T- is everything okay?
L- nope the twins are hungry, and I can't leave them and get food for them. So I'm waiting for Angela to come back so I can get them their food.
T- go, I will take care of them.
L- really?
T- yes now go before I change my mind.
L- okay thank you Tim.

Lucy quickly went to get some food. Tim was sitting with the twins, talking and playing games with them. Nolan walked by.
JN- awh the twins are really getting big.
T- I know right. I still find it hard to believe that Lucy had them.
JN- I know right. But the kids really don't look like Blake.
T- I thought I was the only one. Maya is just a mini version of Lucy.
JN- yes and Jace he looks familiar. Wait go sit next to him.
T- what?
JN- he actually looks like a mini version of you.
T- excuse me? What are you even saying.
JN- do we really know that Blake is their dad?
T- wait, I think you are on to something. They only started dating. When she was 5 months in the program.
JN- yes I think it was also the end of the program.
T- and the twins were born just 4 months after. So that would mean she hooked up with Blake or someone else when she arrived in San Diego.

L- how?
JN- well we were talking about that they don't look like Blake. And we started getting the timeline. And you'd have to hook up with him on your first week in San Diego.

T- wait are they mine? John said Jace looks like a mini me.
JN- I just said that but I didn't think it was real. I didn't even know that you were sleeping together.
L- yes Tim they are yours, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But when I found out I was still angry at you.
