Closing the case

T- okay but what happened, how did I end up in the hospital?
L- you were in a car crash. You had been hit from the side and the back. It was a pretty hard hit, so your body needed to heal.
T- how long was I in a coma for?
L- it was about a year. Apparently when you went into a coma I was pregnant almost halfway.
T- wait I don't understand.
B- it is kinda hard to understand, it's a very complicated situation.
T- please can I just hear everything from my girlfriend.

Tim was done with Blake being there. He didn't really know why his hate for Blake increased while being in coma. But seeing Blake here with his girl and kids, it just doesn't seem right.

L- Blake could you please leave us alone for a minute?
B- sure, do I need to take Liv?
L- no, she is hungry. I'm just going to feed here while explaining everything to Tim.
B- alright, I'll be outside when you need me.
T- she doesn't need you anymore, thank you for everything. But you aren't needed. She has me again.
L- Tim!

Blake walked out of the room and left the two to talk.

L- I don't know why you are so hostile towards Blake but he helped me a lot.
T- and I thanked him for that. It's just I can't stand the guy. He is trying to take my place in our family.
L- and our family is perfect the way it is. And I would never let him take your place.
T- okay so what exactly happened?
L- what do you still remember last?
T- uhm I dropped you off at the mall. That's everything.
L- okay well you were on your way to the station. And a car crashed into your side. The two cars behind you both crashed into you because of the sudden stop.
T- okay what happened to the one car from the side?
L- that is still a big question mark. He drove off after the crash. It was a rent car and apparently Blake had rented that same car but gave it back the day before that. And there were no other renters.

Tim was processing all the information he got.

T- it has to Blake, doesn't it?
L- we came across that idea too. But he has an alibi he is not guilty.
T- okay what was his alibi, it can't be that bulletproof.
L- he left the day before back to San Diego. We have watched the surveillance footage and saw him. He was also checked in on the flight.
T- that does seem like a good alibi.
L- I know, I hate that we still haven't found the suspect. I mean Lopez and Harper are one of the greatest detectives in all of LA.
T- I know baby, but we will soon. And it all will be okay.
L- I love you Tim.
T- and I love you Lucy Chen even more. Now, can I finally hold my daughter?
L- oh yes, I named her liv nova Bradford. Hope that it is okay?
T- I love it, but why does the name nova sound familiar?
L- that's because it was on of my undercover names. It was actually my first undercover case.
T- oh yeah I remember. You were really great that day.
L- thank you, I finally felt seen by you. You had a proud look.
T- I was really proud of you, even though I didn't like the idea of you going undercover. And I'm still proud of you. You gave me my beautiful children.

L- thank you, speaking of our kids. Jace and Maya are almost 7 already.
T- what no way, time moves to fast.
L- I know and I hate that you didn't get to be with me through the whole pregnancy and birth.
T- it wasn't your fault. It just means we have to give it another try.
L- woah, calm down. We already have three kids. And you want another one?
T- yea of course, aslong as it is with you. And liv already is 6 months right.
L- yes
T- so she will need a little friend to play with. So let's give our kids another sibling.
L- okay but first we need this case closed and you out of the hospital.

Tim got checked out and would be discharged tomorrow. The kept him for observation through the night. Lucy took the kids home. Blake left when Lucy was all set up with the kids in bed.

The next day Lucy went to pick Tim up with Angela. The kids were at school and daycare. When the papers were signed and Tim was seated in the car. They went on their way to the house.

A- Tim, were so glad that your back.
T- me too, I just hate that I missed so much.
L- Ange, watch out there is a speed bump.
A- oops sorry guys.

Angela drove a little bit to fast over the speed bump. Because of the bump, Tim launched in the air. That bump brought Tim back to the day of the accident. To the moment when he saw that car drive towards him from the side. He took a good look again and noticed Blake behind the wheel.

L- Tim! Tim answer me!
A- Tim! Is he okay?
T- uh what?
L- are you okay? You scared the shit out of me.
T- yes I'm okay, I just had a flashback.
L- what did you see?
A- did you see anything to help with the case?
T- I saw Blake behind the wheel.
A- I knew that I had to follow my gut feelings.
L- what I thought he was innocent.

They all thought very deeply. How could he have done it and at the same time be at the airport the day before. When they arrived at home they got to work, to solve this case.

A- here Celina did another background check on Blake.
L- what did she find out?
A- Lucy did you know Blake has a brother?
L- yea I knew he had one but we never met. He was always traveling.
T- okay but what about his brother?
A- well they apparently look almost identical. And he was recently moved in with Blake.
T- okay so?
A- his car in San Diego has been spotted on the highway towards LA. But that couldn't be Blake because he already was in LA.
T- have you watched the camera footage form his hotel?
A- no but I just put Celina on it.

After watching the footage they connected the dots and could close the case. Blake is guilty and is now arrested. In the interrogation had Blake confessed he did it and confirmed our theory. Blake's brother Ben drove to LA with Blake's car. Then he got on the plane with Blake's ticket so Blake had an alibi. After Blake had crashed into Tim he took his car and drove back to san Diego.
