𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 a regular Monday morning for Camila.

She had woken up from an amazing sleep that her Sunday dinner had induced her to, getting up refreshed to start the day.

She had slipped on her favorite black Jimmy Choo heels and one of the newest outfits she had ordered from a boutique last weekend.

Her everyday makeup for work came out flawless as usual, and she had doused herself in her favorite Burberry fragrance, ready to conquer whatever the day had in store for her as Ignacio Silva's assistant.

So, when Ignacio had come into work and had asked to speak with her in his office on his personal floor, she thought nothing of it.

Using her platinum keycard, she rode up the elevator, making sure to have all of the correct times placed on his schedule for today. Along with that, she held his coffee in her hand that she had just made, wondering why he insisted on adding two pumps of vanilla to it this time.

He usually doesn't even drink coffee– and if he does, it's black with two shots of espresso.

Bitter, just like him.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Camila was forced out of her trance by the elevator ding, followed by the steel doors opening to the massive floor plan.

About a month and a half ago, you could've considered Camila a nervous wreck.

After she had sent the file that was made by Ignacio's private investor over to Robin, it was only a matter of hours before the plan was successful.

Ignacio had disappeared from the office for the rest of the work week, choosing to work from home as Camila was put in charge of his endeavors that dealt with partnership companies.

Those three days consisted of a lot of scheduling and rescheduling of meetings, phone calls to his investors, and coverups to companies who began to get word of the fiasco online.

It was actually quite ironic for Camila to be the one to say everything was a lie or it wasn't as bad as it seemed.

Because it was.

Camila was following all of the headlines that were coming out like clockwork, and with every tabloid dropped, her heart would skip a beat.

She didn't know Quincy like that- or at all really, but she knew she didn't deserve the heat.

The first two days of the cat being pulled from the bag were when Camila was the most anxious.

From constantly checking her phone to always calling and checking on Mr. Silva's whereabouts and if he needed anything– she was a nervous wreck, and rightfully so.
