I Only Care About You (Michael Carrick) -COMPLETED-

Chapter 40.

I woke up the next morning in my usual place next to Michael. We more or less did the usual matchday routine as well. We woke up, Michael went and showered whilst I went and gave Jacey his bottle. Although this morning was different, I had to make Levi his breakfast whilst Michael gave Jacey his bottle. Michael then showered and Jacey slept. I then got Levi washed and dressed and then turned TV on for him whilst I got dressed as Michael had already left.

Once I was ready, I took the boys out to the car and strapped them both in. I was dressed in a pair of green chino’s and a white top, along with a black leather jacket and a pair of white converse. My hair was up in a messy bun. Levi was dressed in a pair of jeans, a grey shirt, his body warmer and his Timberland boots, I used some gel to give a lift to his hair, he looked adorable.

We drove to Old Trafford and Le was happily chatting away to me about how excited he was to meet Kai.

‘’Who’s your favourite football team then Le?’’ I asked

‘’Manchester United silly!’’ he stuck his tongue out at me

‘’And who’s your favourite player?’’

‘’Rooney! He’s the best ever!’’ Levi giggled

‘’Oh really? Do you know who Kai’s daddy is?’’

‘’No, who?’’

‘’Wayne Rooney’’ I grinned and his jaw dropped

‘’Will I get to meet him!?’’ he asked excitedly

‘’Yes! You can meet all the players! They sometimes come round to our house with their children’’

‘’Really? Oh wow! I can’t wait now!’’ he clapped his hands and his smile didn’t fade the entire journey to Old Trafford.

We soon arrived and pulled into the car park. I locked the doors of the car and held Levi’s hand and carried Jacey in my other as we made our way inside. We were quite late today, well not late, just not as early as other days. I guess it was because we hadn’t really thought about the new schedule with Levi. We wandered inside and we could hear the noise and music from the changing rooms which were opposite the players’ lounge.

‘’Hey Le, all the players are in there’’ I said to him, he looked towards the door

‘’Can we go in?’’ he asked

‘’Not now, because they will all be getting changed, maybe later Michael will take you in’’ I said, he smiled and seemed happy enough.

We walked into the players’ lounge and went and sat in our normal seat with Col.

‘’Morning’’ I smiled to her as we sat down. Levi sat cautiously on the other side of me. I let one of the carers take Jacey so I could get Levi used to everything.

‘’Morning, and this little cutie is…’’ she said, smiling at Levi, who once again, buried himself into me. He moved himself so he was sat on my lap and his head was in my neck

‘’This is Levi, come on Le, don’t be shy, say hello’’ I said, encouraging him to be confident

‘’Hello’’ he said in a tiny voice

‘’Aw he’s so sweet! How old is he?’’

‘’He’s three, just like Kai’’

‘’I’ll go and get Kai, then they can talk together’’ Col said, getting up and walking into the nursery to collect Kai.

They soon came back out and Kai being Kai came and plonked himself down right next to us.

‘’Hi, I’m Kai, what’s your name?’’ Kai smiled at Levi who perked up a bit

‘’I’m Levi’’ he said

‘’Do you want to play a game? We have lot’s in the nursery, all my other friends are in there too, I can take you to meet them if you like?’’ Kai offered. Levi looked at me and said

‘’Can I go?’’

‘’of course you can Le, go on Kai, take him to meet the others’’ I said, sliding Levi of my lap

‘’Okay, come on Levi’’ he said, beckoning for Levi to follow him. He did and they disappeared into the nursery.

‘’Levi’s adorable!’’ Col cooed

‘’Isn’t he just!?’’ I agreed.
