Chapter 50.

I hauled my case off the carousel at the airport and held onto Jacey's hand tight.

I then placed him on my hip and walked out into the hot Madrid sunshine, wheeling the case behind me. My eyes scoured the area for Cristiano, I couldn't see him anywhere.

"Alice?" A voice came from behind me, making me jump out of my skin

"Oh my God, Cris you scared me!" I put a hand to my heartland smiled at him

"Sorry" he shrugged and smiled, "Hey buddy! You okay?" He said to Jacey. I passed him over to Cristiano, to which he threw Jacey in the air and caught him safely in his arms. Jace was laughing his little head off.

"He's grown up so much!" Cristiano said in awe. He took my case and pulled it to his car for me, Jacey still on his hip

"I know, we went on a trip to Disney Land with Michael, Wayne, Coleen, Kai and Levi. Jacey took his first steps then! Don't worry, I recorded them for you" I smiled

"Really? You recorded it, for me?" He seemed stunned

"Well yeah, you're his dad Cris" I said in a duh tone

He blushed, "Thanks". He unlocked his black Porsche and put my case in the boot. He then strapped Jacey into a car seat.

"Wow, you even bought a car seat!" I smiled, strapping myself in

"Well yeah, he's got his own room too, Iker and Sergio helped me decorate it!" He grinned

"What did Gabby say about all this?"

He went silent and bowed his head. He swallowed and took in a deep breath

"Gabby urm, she cheated on me with Gerard Piqué. She's with him now" he said without looking at me

"Oh Cris, I'm so sorry" I touched his arm and he looked at me for a split second

"It's fine, I don't really have time for her if Jacey's here " he smiled weakly, "what about Michael?" This time I stayed silent.

"I'm not talking to Michael..." I trailed off

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked as we pulled into the driveway. I nodded and we both got out of the car. I collected Jacey and Cristiano got my case for me.

We followed him inside and he took us straight upstairs.

"And this, is Jacey's room!" He opened a door to reveal a medium sized room. The walls were those types that you could draw on yourself and one wall was magnetic. The carpet was black and fluffy. Cris had even bought a little bed with a guard on the side to stop him from falling out. There were toys dotted around and shelves with books and toys on. There was also a rug in the middle of the room with a street map on that he could drive cars along.

"Cristiano! This is amazing!" I exclaimed. Jacey let go of my hand and crawled over to the box of cars. He pulled a few out and began to line them up on the mat, "you didn't have to do all this!" I grinned

"He's my son after all, and if he's coming to visit in the future then he needs a room" Cris smiled

"But you didn't have to go to this much effort!"

"I want my little boy to be happy when he comes here" Cris stood proud with a grin on his face.

"You want to see the video of Jacey?" Cris nodded. I went into my bag and pulled out the iPad. I clicked on the video and handed it to him. His smile grew wide when Jacey got up off his knees and toddled towards Mickey Mouse.

"That's amazing!" He grinned

"I know! It's just so cute!" I cooed, watching it myself.

"So, are you going to tell me about Michael?" We left Jacey in his room and took a seat not the sofa he had on the landing. Not just a random sofa, it was like another lounge.

"Well, basically, we got into an argument over something and you know my cousin Levi? His parents had died so I had to take care or him and he lived with us now. Well anyway, Michael said to me that Levi wasn't even mine and I just completely wanted to crawl away and die after he said that because-" I had to stop talking because I was crying so hard. I didn't even notice that I was leaning on Cristiano.

"It's okay, you don't have to say anymore" he whispered in my ear. I swallowed and looked up at him.

His brown eyes stared deep into my green ones. I swallowed and his face decreased in distance. The next thing I knew we were kissing. I had no idea what to do but you know what? I kissed back.
