At any given time, if you couldn't find Y/N, the first person everybody would ask was Percy. There was hardly an hour of the day where the two weren't together, even if Was only for a opulent of minutes.
Y/N was very well liked around camp, a daughter of Demeter with a pure, kind soul. It wasn't unusual for people to be jealous of her relationship with the son of poseidon. However, for the most part the Demi-gods were super respectful of it, and made no moves on her.
Well except for one. Luke. Despite the fact that he was older than her, he was absolutely captivated by her, and resented the son of Poseidon for stealing her heart.
One particular day, he had enough of seeing Percy get everything Luke so desperately desired. So he decided to take matters into his own hands.
He watched one night as Percy walked Y/N back to her cabin. Pulling her in for a quick kiss before yelling goodnight at her. Y/N usually watched Percy until he was too far for her to see, so she was outside alone for a while before she started to turn the knob to Athena cabin.
"Y/N wait!", Luke whisper-shouted. The daughter of Demeter whipped around to see Luke, leaning against the wall to her cabin.
"Oh, hey Luke", she smiled, "What's up?".
"Not much. Hey I found this bracelet, I asked around and nobody claimed it, and I figured it would suit you, so here you go", he pulled out a string bracelet with a gold circular charm that had a heart stamped on it.
She thanked him, but was very confused by the gesture, nonetheless she didn't want to be rude so she fastened the bracelet onto her wrist, and walked into her cabin.
Almost immediately she felt heat rush to the spot where the charm rested, yet she brushed it off, guessing maybe it was sat out in the sun or something. Y/N went to bed, thinking nothing of the small bracelet from Luke.
The next morning however, was when the real problems began. Normally when she woke up, she wanted to get ready quickly and meet up with Percy before breakfast, but today she had a strong urge to see Luke, so she did.
When she got to the Hermes Cabin, Luke was already making his way outside and smiled broadly at her, seeing that she was walking over to him. She shot him a grin, feeling a warm blush spread across her face. Since when was Luke so cute?
"Hey Y/N", he moved to hug her quickly, "How are you doing?".
She nestled comfortably into the hug, "Good! Heading to breakfast".
The two walked in together, and before they could sit at their respective tables Percy hurried over to them, "Hey guys! Y/N I didn't see you this morning".
She shifted uncomfortably, "Oh. Yeah, sorry". He brushed it off and started talking to her about gods knows what, but she found herself unable to listen, her mind wandering back to the Hermes boy stood beside her. Luke placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it gently, "I'll catch up with you later, yeah?".
She nodded distractedly, her gaze following Luke until he sat down, hurriedly she said goodbye to Percy and went to sit with her siblings.
For the next four days this odd behavior continued, y/N was pulling away from Percy and as it seemed falling for Luke. She had begun staying some nights with him in the Hermes cabin, which is where Percy reached his limit.
On the morning of the 4th day, Y/N walked out of Hermes cabin at the crack of dawn with Luke close behind her, Percy had happened to be on his way to Demeter cabin to get his girlfriend and was beyond taken aback when he saw her emerge with Luke.
