*WOO CONNOR IMAGINE FOR @h4nn4hhbananaa yay!*
Moon, a hole of light. Through the big top tent up high.
Here before and after me, shining down on me.
Connor Stoll still remembered the first day he met Y/n L/n.
It was maybe the middle of the night, and he was running to set up a prank for Aphrodite cabin when he noticed a girl on the hill.
She seemed to be trying to limp down it into camp, but she fell suddenly. Connor abandoned all plans for pranks and ran over to her. She was clutching her bleeding stomach and barely breathing.
"Help, please", she coughed.
Connor wasted no time in scooping her into his arms, bridal style and running into the infirmary.
"It's okay, you're okay", he tried to reassure her, "I'm Connor".
"Y/n".
She had already fainted by the time he kicked open the double doors, startling a half-asleep Will Solace awake.
Will bandaged her up and fed her some ambrosia fast, assuring Connor that she would be okay and he could go back to bed.
"No", Y/n croaked, "Stay".
He gulped and sat down next to her on her bed. They stayed there the entire night talking.
Moon, tell me if I could send up my heart to you.
So when I die, which I must do. Could it shine down here with you?
Connor hadn't left her side, even when she did eventually recover. She wasn't unclaimed for long, maybe only two days before she moved into her new cabin.
He missed her presence in the Hermes cabin almost instantly, but was very much glad that she wasn't his sister.
Y/n didn't stop being his friend after she got claimed. She wanted him around her near constantly, and he was more than happy to oblige.
He walked with her every morning to breakfast and back every night from dinner. On more than one occasion they had just walked around, trying to prolong the time they spent together.
They were the best of friends in no time. But deep down, they knew that they weren't just friends. There was no denying the feelings they felt for one another, and they didn't even bother trying.
Cause my love is mine, all mine.
I love mine, mine mine.
Nothing in the world belongs to me but my love mine, all mine, all mine.
Nothing in a demigod's life was ever consistent.
Nothing in a demigod's life was ever guaranteed to last.
Except Connor and Y/n. They knew from the start that what they had was different, the love they shared was special before they even knew they were in love.
Everyone at camp waited anxiously for them to get together, the Aphrodite kids made bets with everybody on when they would do so.
It took longer than anybody expected for the best friends to confess their feelings.
Y/n still remembers the first day she allowed herself to entertain the idea that Connor liked her as more than a friend.
She had been sitting on the steps of her cabin with Connor.
Her head was rested on his shoulder, he had an arm around her. They weren't really saying much, the sun was setting and a breeze was cutting through the humid summer air. Connor and Y/N simply sat there, watching another day end.
