you find yourself walking around the school, looking for jisung.

he had disappeared. he never disappears.

han jisung - the most smiley and positive person you had ever seen.

you were friends with him for several years. changbin - your cousin - had introduced you to his school friends. (because you went to the same school). his friends were bang chan, minho, hyunjin, jisung, felix, seungmin and jeongin.

you immediately clicked with jisung. he was the most positive person you have ever seen. and you liked that. no, you loved it.

you two were best friends now. you were always joking with each other, always doing some stupid things.

you have never seen jisung upset. he was always smiling. always. and you loved that smile of his. how his lips were forming a small, cute heart when he smiled. his small, pretty teeth. you loved that.

felix had texted you a few minutes ago.

felix
hey, have you seen jisung?
I can't find him anywhere.
and he is not answering his
phone.
do you have any idea where
would he be?
-

and you were panicking now.

jisung never do that. he is always answering his phone. always.

you were walking, no, you were running around the school for the past 12 minutes.

and jisung was nowhere to be seen.

you had checked everywhere: the cafeteria, the library, his classroom. every classroom, actually. you even begged a boy you saw in the hallway to go check the men's bathroom.

but jisung was not there.

your heart was beating so fast. you can hear it clearly.

as you were running, something caught your eye. the hallway that connects the old part of the school with the new one.

without thinking twice, you were running towards the old classrooms.

you have checked three of them already, starting to lose hope because there were only two more.

you opened the door of the penultimate classroom.

and there he was - jisung, curled up into the back of the room, hugging his knees, head down low to them. he was shaking a little. you can see that from where you were standing - by the door, which was at the other end of the room.

you gently let go of the doorknob, starting to walk towards jisung with slow and light steps.

you stood in front of him. your heart was aching.

jisung never cry. or that's what you thought.

you crouched in front of him, touching his arm gently.

his head shot up, his big eyes were red and puffy.

you smiled sadly when he looked up at you.

"hi" you said softly to him.

"w-why ar-" you started caressing his arm softly, telling him that you were there for him.

you smiled and him with the softest smile ever.

"you can continue crying if you want. if you need to. I'll be there." you moved so now you were sitting beside him, still touching his arm gently.

he was looking over at you as you moved to sit beside him, his bottom lip trembling lightly.

you offered him a soft, small smile as you continued caressing his arm with your fingers.

"it's okay." you whispered softly, seeing how his tears were still falling.

you stayed like this for a few minutes - jisung crying next to you and you caressing his arm softly.

then he started moving.

you looked over at him, but you didn't have time to see what he was doing as he sat in your lap, wrapping his arms around you tightly.

you smiled faintly, wrapping your arms around his body as well. you started caressing his back softly, trying to calm him down.

he had buried his face into your neck, continuing to sobb.

you lifted your other hand to his hair, playing with it softly.

"I'm here, don't worry." you said with a soft voice.

you can feel his arms wrapping around you even tighter.

your hand was wrapped around his waist, holding him close to you as your other had been buried in his hair.

you stayed like this for some time. you don't know how long, but you didn't care. the only thing you care about right now was jisung.

you were still caressing his hair softly when you felt him pulling away slightly.

you turned your head to look at him. a soft smile made it to your lips as you looked at his red eyes.

"hello there." you said quietly, as if not to scare him.

jisung was looking at you with his teary eyes. "thank you." you heard him whispering.

you smiled at him, your arm still wrapped around him.

"no need to thank me, hannie." your hand that was in his hair was now on his cheek, caressing it softly.

you saw the faint smile on his lips, making you smile more.

"here is the beautiful smile." you were not sure if his cheeks were red from the crying or if he was blushing. you can't tell. but it was cute.

"I was worried about you." you spoke with a soft voice.

he looked down as he spoke quietly. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to worry you."

you slightly lifted his face so you can look at him.

"it's okay." you smiled at him. "are you feeling better now?"

you saw him nodding, a small smile on his lips.

"a lot better than before." his arms were still wrapped around you.

you smiled and nodded at him. "I'm glad to hear that."

he leaned and placed a soft peck on your cheek.

you giggled softly, looking at him again.

"do you want to go see the boys? they were worried, too. or do you want to go home? I will text them that you're okay."

he seemed to think for a few seconds before answering you. "home, please."

you nodded, and he stood up from your lap. you stood up as well, smiling softly at him.

you lifted your hands and wiped the leftover tears from his cheeks before taking his hand gently.

"let's go home." you smiled softly at him, starting to walk towards the door of the classroom.
