everyone assumed lee felix was cold. friends, acquaintances, even classmates who had never spoken a word to him said the same thing.

but you knew better. you had seen past that quiet, seemingly indifferent shell, and what you found was something so soft and tender that it almost took your breath away.

felix had a heart that was, in many ways, fragile - a heart that seemed to be waiting, hoping for someone who could nurture it with love. and you were more than ready to give it all the love it needed.

felix and you had been dating for almost a month now, though the rest of the group barely believed it.

felix, the closed-off, unreadable older boy with the sweetest heart buried beneath layers, was with you, the affectionate, expressive sunshine who saw the best in everyone.

your friends joked that it was almost like a miracle, but you just smiled, unbothered. you knew the truth; you knew felix's heart.

...
today, the whole friend group was in the library together, supposedly studying. most were actually focused on their books, while a few were just there to enjoy each other's company.

you and felix sat side by side at the long table, surrounded by the soft rustling of pages and whispered conversations.

felix was doodling in his notebook, and you watched him with a gentle smile, your head slightly tilted as you admired how focused felix looked. felix's tongue poked out slightly between his lips as he concentrated, and his hand moved smoothly across the page. for someone who didn't show emotions easily, he seemed incredibly animated while drawing.

finally, with a grin breaking across his face, felix turned to you, holding out his notebook with an unexpected sense of pride. "look," he said softly, a small smile on his lips as he showed you his 'masterpiece' - a cute little cartoon cat with wide eyes and an exaggerated expression.

your face lit up instantly. "oh, it's adorable, lix!" you grinned, your voice hushed but filled with excitement.

without even thinking, you leaned in and placed a soft kiss on felix's temple. "you did so good. I'm so proud of you, lix."

felix froze. his heart was racing so loud he thought it might actually echo in the quiet library. a mix of emotions flickered across his face - surprise, embarrassment, and something that looked a lot like happiness.

he blinked a few times, as if processing your praise, before his cheeks began to turn a soft shade of red. his gaze softened, but he quickly looked away, trying to hide the blush.

you chuckled softly, clearly amused by felix's reaction. "you alright?" you whispered, your voice gentle and full of concern.

felix gave a quick nod, though his eyes were still cast down. "yeah...just...not used to it, I guess," he murmured almost shyly. he cleared his throat, hoping the warmth in his cheeks would subside.

around you, the rest of the group noticed the exchange, their expressions ranging from quiet amusement to admiration.

jeongin leaned over, smirking as he nudged chan. "did you see that? felix-hyung actually blushed."

chan chuckled under his breath. "can you believe it? I think she's the only one who's ever been able to get that reaction out of him."

hyunjin, with a teasing grin, added, "she's like some kind of miracle worker. she's making lixie all soft and mushy."
