-------------------your hands were in your pants pockets, and your were on your ears as you were walking down the busy street.
it was midafternoon as you were going home from your morning shift at the café a few streets away.
the sky was cloudy, but it was not raining. it was windy, but it was not cold. it was perfect.
you stopped when the pedestrian light turned red.
you took the moment to look around. every person was in a hurry to go somewhere, some walked slowly, though.
you saw a few couples walking around while holding hands. it makes you feel lonely. your boyfriend broke up with you a few months ago, but you weren't sad.
he was just not the right person, and you knew it. you knew it from the beginning. you tried to make it feel right. but it never did.
you got out of your thoughts when the light turned green and you crossed the street.
the weather was nice, so you decided to take the long way home.
you hadn't come home this way for quite some time, and you spotted a new shop.
a flower shop.
it was not there before. you were sure of this.
the shop was looking so cozy. the sign that was placed next to the entrance of the shop was with a black background, and the inscription "floraison" was messily handwritten with white paint.
on the other side of the entrance, there was a shelf with pots with flowers planted in them.
there was a sage green awning above the door, matching the sage green joinery of the shop.
inside the shop can be seen a tone of flowers and lighting everywhere.
you studied the flower shop before you removed your headphones and put them around your neck as you finally walked towards the shop.
when you open the door, a small bell signals the new customer.
the shop was charming from the outside, but it was even more charming from the inside.
in the middle of the store, there was a table piled with wrapping papers, envelopes, bags, trays full of scissors, tape, pencils, and pens. practically everything you need for packing was on this table.
around the table, there were wooden stairs of various sizes, all covered with bouquets and pots of flowers.
shelves were hung on the walls, again with flowers placed on them.
your lips were slightly parted as you were looking around.
you loved flowers. and this was paradise. your paradise.
"welcome to floraison!" a voice somewhere around the shop said.
you turned your head towards the voice and saw a boy with light brown hair, holding a basket full of flowers walking towards you with a soft smile on his lips.
