Lily's POV
"We should go to school. It's 10:15." Gabriel said.
I nodded my head and went to the bathroom to brush my hair.
"So uhm, my mom doesn't have a job yet. And she would probably kill me if I went home right now." He said leaning against the bathroom door.
"Oh you can borrow some of my brothers clothes." I said putting my brush down.
He nodded and then I grabbed some clothes from his room and walked back into my room and handed him the clothes.
"I'll change in the bathroom." He said and walked into the bathroom.
I did my makeup and while I was doing that, Gabriel walked in and saw me. He kept looking at me and when I looked over at him while I was doing my eye liner, I poked my eye.
Gabe chuckled and I giggled and then I finished my makeup.
"Hey does your brothr have any cologne?" He asked.
"No but I have some of my dad's that I took from his room." I said.
I stood up and grabbed his cologne off of one of my shelves.
"Lily what the hell?!" Gabe said.
"What?" I asked.
He pulled my arm down, pulled my sleeve up and saw my cuts.
Fuck. I think my sleeve went up when I was grabbing the cologne.
"Lily. Why the hell do you do this?" He asked.
"I-i uhm." I stuttered.
"Lily. Please don't do this to yourself. Life may be hard right now, but doing this, doesn't help. It will leave scars on you for life." He said.
I was trying to hold back my tears while he said all of these things.
"Where all have you done this?" He asked.
I folded my arms and looked down.
"Please show me Lily." He said.
I took my pajama pants off, I had shorts on underneath, and showed him my legs. I lifted my shirt up just a little bitand showed him the ones on my stomach and then I showed him the ones on both of my wrists
"Lily. These scars are going to be on your body for the rest of your life." He said.
I let a tear slip and he pulled me in for a hug. I cried into his shirt and he held me closer to him.
"I'm sorry." I said.
