Lily's POV
I was sitting at lunch all by myself waiting for Gabe. God, what he did for me today was amazing. How he stuck up for me. Ugh I love him. He's the first boy to ever make me feel like this.
"Hey emo." Someone tapped on my shoulder.
I turned around to see Gina, the girl who was talking to Gabe this morning.
I turned back around and tried to ignore her.
"You're the one dating Gabriel right?" She asked.
"Leave me alone." I said looking down.
"Where's Gabriel now?" She asked.
"Probably getting lunch." I said quietly.
"Well, while we're waiting, how about we do something." She said.
I shook my head and she gave me a death glare.
Before I knew it, she had her fingers in my hair and was pulling me into the bathroom.
She shoved me into the wall and punched me in the face.
"Stay away from Gabriel. He's going to be mine and I don't need some emo suicidal bitch getting in the way." She said kicking me in the stomach and I fell down.
She kicked my side before leaving. I laid there crying holding my stomach.
When I finally got the strength, I got up and walked out of the bathroom and walked home.
I crawled through my window and went to the bathroom. I grabbed the razor from my shower, and then broke it.
I slid it across my wrist and I just kept doing it over and over again. I feel bad for doing this to Gabriel, but I feel like I have to do this.
I looked up at the mirror and my demons took control over my mind again.
You're disgusting. Everything Gina said was true. You're a suicidal emo. And Gabe diserves better than you!
I let my tears slip and cleaned my arms up.
I curled up into my bed and cried myself to sleep.
Gabe's POV
"Louis. Have you seen Lily?" I asked him.
"No. Sorry." He said shaking his head.
I looked at the table Lily normally sits at, and she wasn't there either.
I sat with Louis and Brennen and just thought about Lily.
Where could she be?
"Hi Gabriel." The girl from this morning said coming up to me.
"Go away." I said rolling my eyes.
"Where's Lily?" She asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"Awe. It's a shame she's not here." She said sitting on my lap.
I moved her off my lap and looked at her. She was looking at me with a little smirk.
"What did you do to her?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" She asked twirling her hair acting like a little kid.
"You did something to her." I said standing up.
She looked at me and acted like nothing happened.
I walked out of the lunch room and walked out of school. I got in my car and drove to my house. I barged in and ran up to my room and didn't see her.
I looked out my window and saw Lily asleep in her bed, and she had new cuts on her wrist.
I jumped through my window and into her window. Her pillow was wet and she still had tears coming from her eyes. And she had a mark on her face.
Did that girl do this to her?
I crawled into bed with her and wrapped my arms around her.
"I'm sorry if that girl did this to you. I promise that I will not have her hurt you again." I whispered before kissing her cheek and falling asleep.

Lily's POV
I woke up and felt someone laying next to me. I turned around and saw Gabe.
I smiled before my wrists started to burn. I looked down and saw them. I felt bad for doing that to Gabe.
"Lily?" He said.
I looked and saw Gabe looking at me.
I smiled at him and pecked his lips.
"Why did you leave school?" He asked.
"The girl that was hitting on you this morning, Gina, she told me to stay away from you and then she punched me then kicked me." I said.
He pulled me in for a hug and I felt so protected. That's the second time I've said that, but it's true.
"I'm sorry Lily." He said.
He grabbed my right arm gently and he kissed my new cuts.
