Chapter 12

Gabe's POV

"Lily. Wake up. We need to get up for school." I said shaking her gently.

"Five more minutes." She said rolling over.

"Come on Lily." I said kissing her cheek.

She hid under the blanket and I got under them with her. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her cheek until she woke up.

"Oh my god okay I'll get up." She said giggling.

She got out of bed and grabbed some clothes and changed in the bathroom.

When she walked out, she looked gorgeous.

I looked at her and she looked down and blushed.

"You look beautiful." I said.

She walked up to me and pecked my cheek.

She's so gorgeous. Her eyes, her smile, the little freckle above her lip, her personality. Everything about her is just, perfect.

"Uhm Gabe?" She said as we got in my car.

"You just said everything you were thinking out loud." She said.

Crap

She giggled before we drove off. We drove in silence and when we got there we walked out hand in hand.

"Hey Gabe." One of the girls said walking past us.

She shoved Lily out of the way and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"I have a girlfriend." I said as I saw Lily look hurt.

"But, why are you with some suicidal emo, when you can be with a popular cheerleader like me." She said.

"She's not a suicidal emo. She is a beautiful, smart, amazing girl who makes me happy. She makes my stomach do flips and she makes my heart melt. I would rather be with her, than be with someone who doesn't make me happy." I said.

I looked at Lily who had tears streaming down her face, and a huge smile.

The girl flipped her hair before passing Lily and shoving her.

Lily came up to me and gave me a huge hug.

"I love you so much Gabe. Oh my god you don't even know how much I love you. Oh my god." She said into my neck.

"I love you too Lily. More than you can imagine." I said meaning every word.
