His Flower Obsession (BWWM)

Chapter 1

                        2 years ago in October   

                        Peony POV

I am standing here looking at myself in the mirror. I am wearing a very tight cat woman costume because my two best friends Ariana and Artemis making me go to some sweet 16 birthday party for twin I don't even know ugh. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself my name is Peony Williams and I am 15 years old.

I said to them "do I have to go because I don't like this costume. It is too tight?" Ariana said "yes so come on" then she got up and walked out of my bedroom. Artemis walked up  behind me and said "you look sexy as hell. Just breathe n come on" she smiled at me then walked out too.

I just looked at myself again. I just hope I can get passed my mom without her seeing me because she always has something negative to say about me and I ain't in the mood to hear it. See my mom used to be Miss North Spark City beauty Queen three years in a row when she was 16, 17 &18 and now she still has the perfect model figurer. Artemis said "Peony come on we going to be late" I said "I am coming" while  grabbed my phone and my small purse then left my bedroom.

Half way down the stairs I can hear my mom voice just  great I was trying to avoid her ugh. Ariana said "Mrs. Williams you look absolutely gorgeous today" My mom said "thank u sweetie" My mom said "Athena and Ariana I just love y'all costumes". They both said "thank ma ma" Artemis is superwoman and Ariana is bat woman. I was struck being cat woman because it was the only one that had my size.

My mom said "where are y'all beautiful ladies going tonight? Ariana said "to twin Halloween sweet 16 birthday party ma ma" My mom said "ma ma is for old people. I am still young and beautiful so y'all can call me Demira" They both said "o ok Mrs.Demira"

My mom said "is my daughter going with y'all too?" Artemis said "yes Mrs. Demira, she was right behind me!" then she turned around and saw me. Artemis said "there she is" while smiling at me encouraging me to come downstairs where my mom was.

My mom turned around and saw me and what I was wearing. I just know she is about to say something mean and I was right. My mom walked over to me, grabbed my right hand and pulled me downstairs. She turned me and said to me "honey what are u wearing?"

Artemis said "she is cat woman, don't u agree  she look hot in that costume?" My mom said "baby u should have picked a different costume because you look like a pig and tight blanket in that costume. I am embarrassed for you" See she never has anything nice to say about me. It been like this since I was 8 years old. I have always been a curvy kid.

Artemis said "Well I think she looks hot in that costume" while putting her right arm around my left shoulder. I just love her so much. We have been best friends since we were babies and she has always been my bodyguard and protect me from anybody.

My mom said "well I think she doesn't and should have picked a better costume like a pig or cow u know something she can fit in" I am used to my mom mean comments but they still hurt because I felt like crying.

I looked at Artemis and I can tell she was bout to say something because she has a pissed off look on her face and glancing at my mom but my mom didn't even notice thankfully. I grabbed her and pulled her out the door before she said anything and Ariana just closed the door then followed after us.

Ariana went n got in the drivers seat and I made Artemis get in the passenger seat then I got in the back seat and closed the door. Ariana drove off after we put our seatbelts on.

Artemis said "I am sorry Peony but your mom is a bitch and very mean for saying what she said to you" I said "I know she always been like that so I am used to it" I wanted to cry because what she says always hurts me and lower my self confidence too.

Artemis said "I know but u don't deserve that. Well fuck what your mom said because you look absolutely amazing in that costume" I said to her "thank sis" we smile at each other. Ariana said "I don't find anything wrong with what Mrs. Demira said because she could lose a little weight and no telling  what people might say!" Which started an argument between Ariana and Artemis. Not surprised Ariana defeated my mom because Ariana is the daughter my mom wish she had because she was perfect in every way and also win beauty pageants.

I just zoned them out and looked out the window. Do I really look like a pig in a blanket in this costume. Ugh I don't even feel like going to this party anymore but I don't want to be at home with my mom either because my dad is still at work. I hope my night getting better.

Well that is the end of chapter 1. Poor Peony I feel bad for her because her mom is mean and should treat her daughter better. At least Peony has one good friend because Ariana is a bad friend. Up next is Hades POV from two years ago.
