Chapter 96

                        Peony POV

The Sun shining through Hadiya's bedroom window woke me up. I opened  my eyes, sat up and looked around me. I see Hadiya and Ariana laying in bed with me on each side of me.

Artemis and Daphne are laying on an air mattress on the floor next to the bed. Everyone is still asleep and I am the only one awake.

I slide out of bed without waking anyone up and go in the bedroom to pee. I get done peeing then wash my hands. I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed that the bruises I had on my face and lips had disappeared which is weird as fuck.

I grabbed an extra toothbrush from the bathroom cabinet and brushed my teeth then I walked in Hades room and laid down in his bed putting the covers over me.

I just wanted to snuggle with my sexy devil because I miss him and I ain't mad at him anymore. I snuggled with Hades pillow that smells just like him and went back to sleep.

An hour later someone opened Hades bedroom door and came in closing the door behind them.

Today was Artemis birthday and the day before Valentine's Day so I wanted to go either make her a cake or go get one so I can go surprise her with one. It was something we used to do for each other birthdays before We stopped going to the same school.

As I was walking downstairs to the kitchen I heard music playing and it was coming from the kitchen. So I get downstairs and go to the kitchen to see Momma Rhea and Poppa Craig slow dancing in the middle of the kitchen floor.

I moved around the corner so I can still see them but they can't see me tho.

They were just in the kitchen slow dancing while Momma Rhea laid her head on her husband's chest with her left arms around him and Poppa Craig had his  right arm protectively around her waist and they were holding hands with their other hands. 

It was so beautiful to watch. They were dancing to some old r & b old song. I just stood there silently watching them.

Poppa Craig spend her around then dipped her and they started laughing and smiling at each other. You can tell they are really truly in love with each other.

They are just slow dancing while hugging each other and looking into each other eyes. It makes me wonder if this is what true love looks like.

I have never seen an couple this much in love except for my grandparents because my parents were never that in love with each other ever. So it was so wonderful to see an couple truly in love with each other.

As I continued to watch them I started to imagine Hades and I dancing in our kitchen in our own house like them one day.

It makes me wonder if Hades and I are really that much in love like his parents and is Hades so much smitten with you like Poppa Craig is of Momma Rhea. Hmmm.

As I was wondering those things I didn't notice the music had stopped and they have stopped dancing too.

Momma Rhea said "Honey I think we have been caught being affectionate and dancing" causing me to look at them to see them both grinning at me while still holding each other.

Damn I have been caught watching them slow dancing in the kitchen. I smile back at them.
