We went back to his hotel room and Maria was still there packing up all her stuff. She was not happy at all. I held up my ring finger to her to show her the engagement ring and then I kissed Lando. She was so pissed off and I was loving it.
"You can have him. He hardly bought me anything and he wouldn't do anything with me in bed. He's shit" she said as she got to the door.
"That's because he knew I was still alive. He knew I would come back to him" I said before giving her a middle finger and kissing Lando again. She left quickly after that and Lando brought me to the couch where there were 2 massive fluffy hoodies and some snacks. He wanted us to have a cute little date in our room. We put on the fluffy hoodies and cuddled up together with the snacks. "This is perfect, Lan..." I said.
"I'm so glad you think so, my love. Now, just relax and let me take care of everything" he said. He kissed the top of my head and held me even closer. It felt so good to be back in his arms again.
"what was going through your head when you were told that I was brain dead...?" I asked.
"To be honest, the first thing that went through my mind was losing you. I was scared, angry, and confused. But I knew I couldn't give up on you. I had to try everything in my power to bring you back to me. But then the doctors told me that you weren't likely to make any progress and I couldn't cope" he said.
"What made you go looking for someone new...? Was it me saying that you should look for someone new and love them like you've loved me if I died or something...?" I asked
"A little bit about that but also because I was just trying to move on with my life and find some solace after losing you. But no one could replace you in my heart, Lena. You were always with me, and I couldn't get you out of my mind" he said. At least he was constantly thinking about me.
"at least I know that I'm gonna haunt you forever" I said with a laugh as I started tackling him on the couch "you're never gonna be able to get rid of me!!! you're stuck with me forever and ever!!!" I said. I could hear his laughs as he started play fighting with me.
"I'm not complaining, my love. I'll always welcome your presence in my life, even if it's as a ghost" he said.
"but hopefully I won't be a ghost for ages yet... I think I'm finally healed. I don't feel the need to hurt myself in any way anymore. I don't even feel the need to vape anymore. The only thing the would fully complete me is a little baby but I guess that's still gonna be an issue for a while" I said. I desperately wanted a baby but it wasn't happening... We already had 2 miscarriages.
"We can talk about that too, but let's focus on the positive right now. You're healing. You're recovering. Let me just be happy about that for now" he said. I nodded and he held me on top of him. He didn't care about the fact that I was basically squashing him. He just wanted to hold me.
"no more scaring the living shit out of each other by ending up in the hospital, alright?" I said.
"Agreed, my love. We've been through enough already" he said. We cuddled (and fucked) all night and I woke up on the couch in his arms to my phone ringing at like 7am. I got up and reached over to my phone and I heard something that I never thought I would ever hear. The answer to all the problems in my life. I ended the call and looked at Lando who looked extremely concerned as he saw my face. "What's going on, sweetheart?" He said. I just looked at him in shock. I couldn't believe it.
"I'm the Princess of Germany..."
