My Fiancé

Now I could say it with complete right. Nobody in this whole damn world could now drive us apart until and unless she wanted. And I would make sure that day never come.

I looked at her. She was looking uncomfortable. Ofcourse it's been a while since we were standing here receiving gifts which were nothing but bouquets. On top of it she was wearing heels, it must be hurting her feet.

Finally all the relatives met us and now we were alone standing on the stage.

"Sit down" I asked her.

She looked at me and nodded her head in No "What if someone is left to come and bless us"

"First thing they were not blessing us, it was just a formality. Those who really want to bless us are over there" I said pointing at both of ours family members who were busy here and there.
"And second I know your feet must be hurting due to heels and standing here for so long so don't think much and sit here"

I grabbed her shoulders and made her sit on the couch. She was continuously looking at me all the while.

I smirked and looked back into her eyes. She fluttered her gaze and averted it. I chuckled and sat beside her.

She was looking everywhere but me. I forwarded her hand in front of her and whispered "May I?"

She softly looked at me and gave me her hand. I gently rubbed my thumb over her fingers especially the ring.

"Did you like the ring" I softly asked her.

She smiled at me and said "More than it I liked your thoughtfulness behind it"

"So you didn't like the design but the meaning behind it" I asked faking seriousness.

"No I didn't mean that....Your choice is really beautiful but the meaning it held and the way you conveyed it to me took my heart"

I felt warmness across my neck and ear and I muttered to myself "Indeed my choice is beautiful" looking at her.

"But I guess you didn't like it....Yash was telling me it's too plain. It has to be royal as everyone will see it but I didn-" She was continuously blabbering.

What made her think I didn't like it. I cut her off in between.

"Why do you think I didn't like it" I asked her surprised.

She confusingly looked at me and muttered "But you didn't say anything when I asked you before"

I chuckled shaking my head and closing my eyes.

So cute!!!

"Sweetheart it was just that I wanted to tell you alone in person and also I was desperate to make you wear the ring"

"Wha-What did you say" She asked me  flustered and shocked face.

"I wanted to tell you in person that I really liked it" I repeated.

"Umm..No...I mean what did you call me" She asked.

What did I call her???

I replayed the sentence in my mind and realised.

Though I didn't regret calling her that but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable.
