Avantika's Pov

Mrs. Avantika Prithvijit Singh Sisodia

The name was like a melody, a little clumsy at first, but gaining confidence with each repetition. It was a mouthful, a symphony of syllables, and it felt like a crown on my head, heavy and beautiful. My stomach felt a whole lot of zoo when these words clouded my mind. I was married finally, and to the only man I ever loved.

As I met Prithvi's gaze, my heart soared with a fluttering mixture of exhilaration and a touch of trepidation. His eyes mirrored my own, reflecting the same intoxicating cocktail of feelings. A triumphant smile played upon his lips, igniting a warm glow within me.

"Shall we, Mrs. Avantika Prithvijit Singh Sisodia?" He murmured, extending his hand.

A wave of emotion washed over me as I took his hand and rose with his assistance. Together, we faced our assembled family, each countenance etched with joy and anticipation.

With a reverent bow, we touched the priest's feet, receiving his blessings of eternal marital bliss. Smiles bloomed upon our lips as we met each other's eyes.

As we descended the mandap, we turned toward our elders, their hearts filled with reverence. Dada Sa and Dadi Sa blessed us, their eyes twinkling with pride. Dadi Sa warded off evil eyes rolling her fist and cracking them near her forehead.

"Daughters don't touch feet" Baba declared stopping me from bending down and enveloping me in a protective embrace "But if you ever make her cry, you'll answer to me" He warned Prithvi, who nodded solemnly with a mischievous gleam in his eye.

Maa with tears of joy in her eyes, embraced us both tightly "My children" She whispered "You make my heart soar"

Kaka and Kaki offered their heartfelt blessings for a lifetime of togetherness. Bde Papa and Bdi Mummy shared their mingled joy and sorrow in hug, their eyes conveying the weight of their love for me.

We met Chachu taking his blessings. As I turned to Papa, I noticed the flicker of unshed tears in his eyes. He embraced me and Prithvi tightly, I felt my throat clogging with emotions.

"Don't cry" Papa whispered "I told you a bride's swollen eyes don't look good"

I chuckled through my tears, but my gaze wandered to the night sky. There, two stars shone brightly, their presence a reminder of those who were no longer there to witness my happiness.

"Mumma, Sanya" I whispered, a silent message to the heavens, her voice trembling.

Papa and Prithvi gazed up at the celestial bodies, understanding the profound significance they held. Prithvi's voice interrupted my reverie, his words echoing through my sorrow like a beacon of hope.

"I promise, Mumma, to keep your daughter eternally happy. Should I ever break this vow, I will willingly accept any punishment you deem fit, even death"

My heart soared. In that moment, I knew that I had found not only a husband but a protector, a soulmate, and a promise of a future filled with love and unyielding devotion.

"We should go for dinner now" Seema said, and everyone nodded in agreement.

Avantika and Prithvi turned to wear their footwear, but what they saw sent shockwaves through them. They glanced at each other in disbelief, then at their smirking siblings.
