Prithvi's Pov

One heart, one life and both surrendered to the love of my life.

My heart pounded loudly as I saw her unconscious figure lying on the hospital bed. She was not showing any movement, her body was not completely responding to medicines and treatment. Doctors claimed that she might slip into coma if she didn't wake up in next 24 hours.

As she lost her consciousness in that building, we quickly brought her to the nearby hospital in Pune. Back in Delhi, everyone were relieved when they got to know that she was safe but her not getting consciousness troubled everyone.

Her father, Baba Sa and Bhabhi were coming to Pune while Bhavesh decided to go back to take care of everyone. I already tightened the security around the hospital and I myself was keeping an eye on her.

"Prithvi" Karan nudged me passing me our fourth cup of coffee by now.

"She will be fine, don't worry" He said more like convincing himself.

I nodded "She has to be fine, we have a long way to go. Everyone is waiting for her, I am waiting for her, waiting to confess my love for her" I said in a slow voice looking at her room door.

Adwait came out of her room, his eyes puffy and anyone could guess he was crying. "I'll be back" He said and went away.

"Go and meet her" Karan asked me and without waiting for a second I entered inside her room.

My heart seized as I beheld the sight that unfolded before me. My jaan lay lifelessly on the bed, her vibrant body connected to a tapestry of wires and monitors. Her skin was ashen and lifeless, her once-radiant eyes now closed, their captivating depths veiled. Her arm bandaged, a grim testament to the ordeal she had endured.

A cold shiver coursed through me as the doctor recounted the horrors she had suffered. Multiple bruises and lacerations marked her body, rendering it almost impossible to walk. Yet, despite the agony, she had fought back with unwavering resilience.

With trembling legs, I collapsed onto the stool beside her, my gaze riveted to her face. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as I reached for her delicate hand, cradling it gently within my own. Its softness and warmth belied the trauma she had endured.

"I missed you so much" I whispered, my voice barely above a breath. I leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the back of her hand, the gesture filled with both endearment and longing. Her body remained unresponsive, but I found solace in the tender connection between us.

"I know you will fight this" I affirmed, desperately trying to tamp down the fear gnawing at my heart. "You will have to. We have barely begun our life's journey together, and you cannot simply vanish now. If it had been anyone else, I would not have cared. But it's you, my love, my jaan. And there is no way I can bear the thought of losing you"

As my words trailed off, I cast a pleading glance at her face, desperate for a sign that she could hear me "Papa is waiting for you" I continued, "and Omaya needs you. Your brothers are pining for your smile, and even Yashaswi bhabhi, despite her threats to not meet you, is secretly dying to see you. And as for me...well, Avantika, it's become impossible for me to breathe without you"

Silence enveloped the room as I held her hand, desperately hoping that somehow, some way, my words were reaching her. The weight of her condition bore down on me with an oppressive force, but I refused to give up. I knew she was strong, and I was determined to match her strength with my own.
