Prithvi's Pov

"Vikrant, listen very carefully" I said, leaning back in my chair with a rare, relaxed smile. "From this Friday onwards, for an entire week, I need absolute silence. No calls, no emails, no interruptions whatsoever"

Vikrant raised an eyebrow "Sir, you know we have that big presentation next Tuesday. You're supposed to be meeting with the investors beforehand"

"I know" I chuckled "But this is more important. Remember the wedding I mentioned? The one with the beautiful woman who stole my heart?"

"Yes, sir, the one who makes you forget about deadlines and spreadsheets" He teased, a smile playing on his lips.

I smiled "Exactly. I want this week to be completely dedicated to her. No work, just us. I want to give every single minute of my time to my wife. This week is all about her, and I need to be completely present. You understand?"

He nodded, a knowing look in his eyes "Of course, sir. You deserve this. Just tell me what needs to be done, and I'll handle everything"

"Good" I leaned back in my chair, my eyes sparkling with anticipation "For the next seven days, I'm just Prithvi, the groom. No CEO, no Mr. Sisodia, just a husband-to-be completely focused on his future. Until then, you just enjoy the peace and quiet"

Vikrant grinned, handing me a cup of black coffee "Enjoy your wedding, sir. And congratulations!"

I took the cup, my heart full "Thank you Vikrant" I took a sip, savoring the moment, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I truly allowed myself to relax, knowing my work would be taken care of, and I could finally focus on the love of my life.

It was a week, just a week until I would finally call her mine, forever. The knot that had been in my stomach for months, a nervous excitement I hadn't known I could feel, tightened just a little more. A mere two days stood between us and Jaipur, the magical city where our grandeur wedding awaited.

This wasn't just any wedding - this was the culmination of a love story that had blossomed like a rare flower in our heart. We both had been busy, drowning in a sea of responsibilities and anxieties. Work had consumed me, leaving me with little time for anything else. And she, my beautiful, vibrant bride-to-be, was lost in a whirlwind of wedding preparations, each day a flurry of fabric swatches, jewellery matching, and endless lists.

But even amidst the chaos, I saw the glow on her face, a radiance that intensified with each passing day. It was a reflection of her joy, the anticipation for the moment we would become one. With each video call, with each fleeting text, I saw the happiness reflected back at me, a beautiful mirror image of my own.

But it had been almost a week since we'd truly talked, a week since we'd delved deeper than the superficial exchanges about logistics. I missed her laugh, the sparkle in her eyes when she looked at me, the way she would hold my hand, a silent communication that spoke volumes.

I longed to be back in her presence, to hear her voice, to breathe in the scent of her perfume, a scent that had become my own personal addiction. To tell her how much I loved her, how much I cherished her, how much I couldn't wait to be her husband.

The clock on my desk mocked me with its relentless ticking. I needed to get back to work, but my thoughts were miles away, swirling around her laughter and the image of her in her wedding dress, a vision I couldn't wait to see come true.
