Prithvi's Pov

Sometimes in life we just need someone who will be there for us. Someone who will listen. Someone who will understand and I got that person.

She was the miracle who made my life complete. She didn't judge me, didn't ask me anything instead accepted me this way. But she had the right to know about me, my life......a miserable past.

As she turned to leave, a sudden impulse stirred within me, prompting me to utter words I had long kept hidden.

"I had an elder brother" I whispered, my voice tinged with a faint tremor.

Her gaze met mine, filled with a mix of curiosity and a gentle understanding. She returned to my side, settling beside me on the couch.

"I had an elder brother, Parth Singh Sisodia" I continued, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Had?" she asked, her words barely audible. I nodded, my eyes welling up with unshed tears. "He died when I was 18" I murmured.

My heart pounded with a mix of grief and longing. I averted my gaze, struggling to compose myself.

Her warm hands reached for mine, offering silent support. Her eyes bore witness to my pain.

"I'm so sorry" she said, her voice laden with sympathy "I didn't know"

I shook my head "It's okay" I replied, kissing the back of her hand "We never talked about him"

Her eyes flickered, a hint of hesitation in them "Umm...how...?" she began, her voice trailing off.

"He was murdered" I said softly "They made it look like an accident, but it wasn't"

Her eyes widened in shock "W-who?" she stuttered, her voice trembling.

A wave of protectiveness washed over me. I refused to burden her with the identity of my brother's killer, knowing it would only cast a shadow over our wedding day.

"Let's not talk about it now" I said, squeezing her hand reassuringly "We have a lifetime ahead of us to share our stories. For now, let's focus on each other"

A faint smile played across her lips as she nodded.

Despite my efforts to suppress the memories, Bhaisa's absence weighed heavy on my heart. I missed his unwavering support, his understanding, and his unwavering faith in me. He had been my confidant, the one who knew me better than anyone else.

"Are you alright?" she asked, her eyes filled with concern. I wondered if she had been sent by Bhaisa, a guardian angel to comfort me in my darkest moments.

"I'm okay" I replied, embracing the comfort of her presence "As long as I have you"

"By the way" I said, remembering something "I have something to give you"

A strange expression crossed her face. Her ears and neck flushed crimson, and her eyes darted around nervously. I realized with a start what she might be thinking.

"Relax" I said, moving closer and gently bending down "It's nothing like that"

Her eyes tightly shut with tight lipped out of embarrassment. I smiled and leaned in closer, whispering in her ear "This"

A gasp escaped her lips as she opened her eyes and stared at the box I held. She snatched it from my hand and exclaimed "Mumaaa...Thank god, I found it!"

"Where did you get them?" she asked, still in amazement "I was searching for them before coming here"

"The receptionist gave them to me" I replied "When I saw these bangles, I kept them aside to give you myself"

She made an adorable pout understanding, and I fought the urge to kiss her pout.

Control yourself Prithvi

"Thank you so much" She said, her voice filled with gratitude "I need to go now. Mummy and Bhabhi are probably looking for this"

I nodded in understanding and we stood to leave.

As she walked to leave,  she turned to me with a mischievous smile "See you in the morning...Dulhe miyaan"
