Everything, when I have a lot of work piled up, everything goes wrong.
I had to go for lunch at his place but no, without me being entangled in work, I couldn't go.
I had been searching for a report since 15 mins but why would I find them.
*Ring*Ring
My phone rang, I knew this, I am gone now.
Taking a deep breath I picked up the call.
"Where are you? Did you leave? Where have you reached? Don't you dare come in your office outfits? Hello? " Bdi mummy's raging voice.
So what happened was!! I requested her to let me go to work for half day and I would directly reach his house for lunch.
After a lot of pleading she finally accepted but with a promise that I would be on time and not in the office outfit.
But when I reached office, I came to know that Ajinkya is on leave today, adding to it a lot of work piled up here and then I was freaking out how would I go.
Coming back to phone call!!!
"Hello Avanti, where are you lost? Helloo??"
"I am here maate, let me speak first" I spoke, She hummed and I continued "I am leaving from here in 15 mins and I'll reach there on time, don't worry and ask Vihaan to share me location of their house and your live location"
"Okay but be on time" She again reminded me.
"I will now bye" I disconnected the call and called Shruti and Hriden in my cabin.
*Knock*Knock
I was busy with arranging some file when they came and I sighed a breath of relief.
"I need your help" I quickly said as soon as they entered.
"Sure mam"
I explained them everything that is required to be done and they both agreed to complete it. I thanked them and left for washroom to change.
After changing, I grabbed my purse and phone and bid them bye.
I drove to the location sent by Vihaan.
I was 10 mins far from there while my family already reached there.
I was nervous, it's not common in our culture to visit in laws house before marriage. My heart was beating fast due to nervousness.
As I came near to their house, I was shocked because this was not a villa, this was a freaking haveli. I haven't seen such a mesmerizing building in Delhi.
