panic rose in me as i suddenly took notice of the bloody penknife on the table.
shit.
"yeah! just let me unlock the door!" i scurried to wipe the penknife clean before shoving it back into my drawer.
"lix? you okay into there? i don't think it takes that long to walk to the door."
"i'm fine! i just had to pick up some stuff." i unlocked the door, coming face to face with hyunjin.
"you okay? changbin hyung was a little harsh just now," hyunjin winced slightly at the commotion downstairs.
"is that chan hyung scolding him?"
"yeah. chan hyung and minho hyung. surprisingly, seungmin joined, too," hyunjin informed, inviting himself into my room and sitting on my bed, "so, you okay?"
i shrugged, "could be better, but not that bad."
hyunjin looked at me skeptically, "you sure? you looked really hurt just now."
"i promise i'm fine!" i giggled, "and even if i wasn't, i'll be fine."
"so you're not fine?"
"i am!" i rolled my eyes playfully.
"alright, i believe you." hyunjin laughed, falling backwards onto my bed.
"so, do we have practice tomorrow?"
"i think so. minho hyung's going to kill us." hyunjin groaned loudly, making me giggle.
"true." i chuckled, laying down next to him.
we just laid there, talking about the most random things until three in the morning, which almost made me forget about the wounds on my arms.
