~Chapter 25~

i sat in the darkness, blankly staring at the window. all of a sudden, hyunjin's head popped through my door.

"felix? can i sit with you?"

as soon as i nodded, he practically flew into my room and onto my bed, sitting on the empty space next to me. he took my hands in his and played with my fingers.

"could you tell me what happened? please? i don't want to push you, but i really don't want that to happen again. i felt so helpless, you know?" his hands were trembling now, "i was so scared and- and i didn't know what to do. i have so many questions and worries and-"

i cut his rambling off with a hug. i could feel him stiffening in uncertainty before completely relaxing, his previously frozen hands went lax and his head fell onto my shoulder.

"it's alright. you didn't have to do anything, alright? i don't know what it was. honestly. and i'm sorry I can't answer any questions you have. can we just not talk about it and just cuddle tonight?" i wrapped my arms around his torso as i pleaded hopefully.

"yeah," hyunjin breathed softly, "yeah, okay. we can do that."

that was how we spent the next few minutes, in each others' arms. i relished in the warmth of his arms wrapped around my waist.

"felix?" hyunjin's melodic voice broke the silence.

"hm?" i cracked an eye open, tilting my head up just enough to look at him.

"can i sleep in your room tonight?"

"yeah, of course." i smiled, tightening my grip on his waist.
