strange or unnatural especially in a way that inspires fear; weird, eerie

Woken up from a nap , which Athena had not even realized she was taking , she got out of the tent. Hearing cheer and a repeated chanting of " Whatever the hell we want" she walked closer to see a fireplace surrounded by the cheering teenagers.

Among them, she spotted Bellamy and Wells, engaged in what appeared to be a heated discussion. Suddenly she felt a teardrop on her face and then other , and then a dozen more. A smile spread across her face, and she found herself joining in the cheers of her peers, the rain washing away any lingering worries. Feeling a sense of contentment wash over her, Athena eventually retreated to her tent. The rain allowing her to rest pecaefully throughout the night.

NEXT MORNING

The 18-year old girl decided to start the day by helping Wells bury the delinquents that had not survived the landing. It was an awful thing to do and Athena couldn't help but feel extremely sad knowing that these kids will never get to enjoy earth.

Even though she had never liked Jaha and was well aware of the fact that he was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people , she couldn't help but feel bad for Wells. The treatment he had gotten from the rest of the prisoners was extremely uncalled for. Observing Wells during their time on the Ark, Athena had recognized his inherent kindness and decency, traits that made her decision to assist him in this daunting task an easy one. Which was the reason why she decided to help him out.

After completing the burials, Athena and Wells carried the clothes of the deceased teenagers back to the dropship. As they walked, they were halted by a black-haired boy inquiring about the origin of the garments.

Wells stepped in, explaining, "Buried the two kids who died during the landing." The boy shamelessly smirked, about to suggest something when he was cut off by the Chancellor's son. "We share based on need, just like back home," he interjected firmly.

As the boy, Atom, attempted to grab the clothes from Athena, a commanding voice was heard, "Back off, Atom." Startled, Athena turned to see a shirtless Bellamy stepping forward to intervene. Despite her efforts to maintain composure, she couldn't help but feel a pang of awe at the sight of him.

Bellamy addressed the Chancellor's son with a firm tone; "You still don't get it, do you, Chancellor? This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply",emphasizing the new reality they faced. When he was finished speaking , Athena looked up , convinced this time she was strong enough to not stare. However, her resolve faltered as she realized Bellamy had been looking at her the entire time. Grateful for her inability to blush, she silently cursed her racing heart .

She wasn't crushing on Bellamy; they hardly knew each other. But being a shy person with zero romantic experience, when a good-looking, shirtless guy stood before her, locking eyes as if daring her, she couldn't help but feel flustered. Still, that didn't stop her from speaking her mind.

"No shit Bellamy , but your rules don't apply either. Did you not hear yourself yesterday, when you announced that we could do whatever the hell we want?  Well that's exactly we're doing so how about both , you and your little servant here , back off and go back to whatever childish thing you were doing"

Before Bellamy could reply , there was loud screaming heard. All of them rushed to the fireplace, wanting to see what the commotion was. Athena was able to spot Murphy holding a girl over the fire, threatening her if she did not remove her wristband. As everyone argued, she slowly put her sleeve over her wristband , not wanting to draw Murphy's attention to her.

Though they had been neighbors on the ark for years, Athena had observed various facets of Murphy's personality. While he had always treated her decently, she couldn't ignore the fact that everyone seemed to have undergone changes since arriving on Earth.

As the situation escalated before her eyes, Murphy and Wells descended into a physical altercation. The girl turned to locate Bellamy and marched over to him, her frustration evident. "What's wrong with you? Make them stop before someone gets killed," she demanded.

Bellamy met her gaze with a blank expression. "We're just getting started, Bambi," he retorted before striding off to make yet another reckless decision. This time, he handed Wells a knife. Knowing she would only endanger herself by intervening, she stood anxiously on the sidelines.

However, the chaos of the fight didn't prevent her from pondering the nickname Bellamy had just bestowed upon her.The nickname "Bambi" puzzled her; it sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite place where she'd heard it before.

To her relief Clarke arrived with the rest of the group and was able to stop the fight. "Wells! Let him go!" Clarke's authoritative voice announced. Athena glanced at the group behind her and then at Octavia, noticing the bandage on her leg. She immediately rushed, alongside Bellamy, to the young girl. "Oh my god, are you alright, Octavia?" Athena asked with concern as Octavia sat on a tree stump, trying to rest from the painful walk.

"What the hell happened out there?" Bellamy asked, his tone edged with concern. "We were attacked," Clarke replied coldly. "Attacked?" Athena questioned, her brows furrowing in confusion. "By what?" "Not what," Finn interjected, "Who."

" It turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last Grounder"
