Athena stood frozen in place, unable to shake the weight of her thoughts. Clarke moved around her, efficiently gathering everything useful they could find.

"I'll be right back," Athena mumbled, finally forcing herself to move as she headed outside. As she stepped out, she heard Bellamy yelling into the air, "I did what I had to do!"

Confused, Athena turned towards the sound and saw Bellamy staring blankly into the distance, his expression vacant. "Bellamy?" she called softly, approaching him with caution. When she touched his arm, he remained unresponsive. "If you're gonna kill me, just do it," Bellamy muttered, still speaking to some unseen figure.

Panic surged through Athena as she realized something was seriously wrong. "You idiot," she said, grabbing him tighter and shaking him lightly. "Bellamy, BELLAMY!" she shouted, her voice rising with fear. "Oh god, oh no no," she muttered frantically, her mind racing.

"CLARKE!" she screamed, her voice cracking with urgency.Athena lightly slapped his face, desperation seeping into her actions. "C'mon , Freckles" she urged, but nothing seemed to work.

Athena gave Bellamy one last, desperate look. "I'll be right back. Stay here," she said, knowing he couldn't hear her. She sprinted back to the bunker, her heart pounding. "Clarke? Clarke, where are you?"

As she entered the bunker, she heard Clarke's voice coming from a corner, her words tinged with frustration and despair. "She betrayed you. How can I forgive her for that? The disappointed look isn't fair. I'm trying. I'm trying all the time, but everyone is counting on me, and it's so hard."

Athena's steps slowed as she approached Clarke, shock and worry coursing through her. "Not you too," she murmured, eyes wide as she took in the sight of her friend talking to herself. Distracted, she tripped over a backpack, its contents spilling onto the floor. She scrambled to her feet, noticing nuts scattered everywhere.

A sudden realization hit her. "Please don't let these be poisoned," she whispered, picking up one of the nuts for a closer inspection. Clarke continued her monologue in the background, unaware of Athena's presence.

Athena sniffed the nut, desperation clouding her thoughts. "What am I doing? I don't even know how to tell if it's poisoned," she muttered, throwing the nut back to the ground in frustration.

"Clarke," she called out, louder this time, hoping to snap her friend out of her trance. "Clarke, we need to figure this out. Something's wrong with Bellamy. And now you..."

Athena sat down in the middle of the bunker, feeling a wave of hopelessness wash over her as she stared at Clarke, who was now slightly crying. "This keeps getting worse," she muttered, her voice tinged with frustration. She scanned the room, looking for her backpack. "Where's that stupid bag?" she said, crawling behind one of the drums in her search.

She couldn't find it. As she continued looking, she heard loud footsteps approaching. "Great, crazy person number two is here," she mumbled quietly to herself, preparing to stand up when she heard someone breathing heavily and mumbling to themselves. This didn't sound like Bellamy. She froze, not daring to move.

"Where's that other girl?" a deep voice said, sending a chill down Athena's spine. Wide-eyed, she remained like a statue behind the drums, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Whatever," the manly voice muttered, followed by the sound of someone falling to the ground. The loud stomps of the man leaving echoed through the bunker, amplifying Athena's fear.

She peeked behind one of the drums, scanning the area. No one was in sight except for Clarke, who was lying motionless on the ground. "Clarke," she whispered, crawling over to her friend. She shook her gently, but Clarke wouldn't move. Panic surged through her, but she quickly checked Clarke's pulse, moving up the blonde girl's sleeve. "You're breathing, great," she let out a relieved sigh.
