"I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now, I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now, I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now, I just wanna know you, know you, know you..."

Beckett

After the disaster that was me trying to make Bailey grilled cheese, I tried to save myself by watching her show. This might have been a huge mistake though, because I could not stop watching it.

It was almost midnight now, and we were nearing the end of the fifth episode. Bailey and I had been talking throughout the episodes, she must have seen this show plenty of times because she somehow had an answer to every question I had.

As the fifth episode ended, I grabbed the remote to stop the next episode from cueing before turning my attention to Bailey who sat on the other end of the couch.

"We should probably end here, otherwise I'll stay up all night racking up my reasons to dislike Allison," I laughed, standing up to stretch. Bailey giggled before sitting up and putting her shoes on.

"It's easy to hate her right now, I agree," she says, standing up. "I should probably get home."

"I'll walk you."

"You're gonna walk me 30 feet to my door?" She smiled.

I'd walk you anywhere if you keep smiling at me like that.

"Yup," I said instead, slipping my shoes on before leading her out the front door, Beau following behind us.

We walked across my driveway and the patch of grass leading to hers in silence before reaching her front door. Grandpa Matt's truck was in the driveway now, meaning he must have gotten home a while ago.

"Well thank you for walking me home," Bailey said, digging the toe of her shoe into the porch.

"Thank you for introducing me to that show," I smiled as she laughed.

"Maybe we could keep watching it," she paused, looking up at me. "Next time we're both free, I mean."

"I like that idea," I answered, not even bothering to hide how happy I was to hear her suggest that.

"Okay," she says softly, turning from her doorway. "Goodnight, Beckett."

"Goodnight, Bailey," I smiled, waiting for her to shut the door before heading back home.

After double checking that Delilah hadn't woken up, I went across the hall to my own bedroom before crawling into bed.

I just hung out with Bailey Connors tonight.

I made her smile, I made her laugh, and we had fun.

I'm gonna be your end game, Bailey.
