"Is he still moping?" Louis shook his head. "No, are you still violently drunk?" I gave him a wide grin. "I'll take that as a yes- wait, you're smiling. Why are you smiling?"

"Oh god I don't know. I just had a breakdown over it actually. Yeah Hero caught me int he middle of it. Super cool, very uh- humbling. Now you're like, here and the, I forgot the word but you're here and I'm sort of like, at this point of being drunk where I'm losing my mind all over again but it feels weird because it's not— how do do I say this? I don't want to kill myself. I'm not happy but I'm not sad I'm just kind of- rambling. And now you're laughing at me so it's not any better-"

"No. No I wasn't laughing at you. I'm sorry. I wasn't laughing at you. You're just smiling and talking it's cute." My heart was racing. It was hurting. "Right, do you- the other night I know I went to see you. What happened?"

"We kissed, you said please a lot and then you left. You knocked on my door with your head." That explains the headache. "Was that all?"

"Pretty much. You just kissed me a lot, why?" I shrugged. "I didn't remember and I was scared I'd hurt you or something."

"No. No it was just, a lot of pleases- you're smiling, that's an actual smile." I was fighting for my life. "It's hurting my face. Please make it stop." He shrugs, his hands in his back pocket as he steps closer. "I'm not sure how."

"You're really pretty." I blurt out, my heart almost jumping out of my throat. "You're not as drunk as you're letting on."

"I'm practically sober." He laughs. "Liar." Oh god. "Please make it stop." My body was weak and I could feel myself slipping. "The smiling?"

"Make it stop." My hands were clenched by my side, he was inches away and I don't think I've ever needed somebody this much in my life.

With cold hands pressed against my face and his lips against mine, I could finally feel my heart beat, my head spinning from the excitement.

I was sober enough to class this as our first kiss.

I didn't want the others to be what made this easy. I needed this to just be easy, he made this easy. My hands were shaky, still stuck by my side.

I did eventually get the hang of it, my hand resting against the side of his neck as gently as I could manage so that he didn't leave.

Pulling myself away with my eyes still closed for a second. "Your hearts beating really fast." He said quietly. "Always."

"Harry- ohhh, sorry," Kyle snickers. "I didn't- see anything, uh I need you for a second." He said, covering his eyes. "Okay." I had to get rid of this goddamn smile.

I tried to make this a bad moment knowing Kyle saw, but it felt normal. "I have to go find Tyler anyway." I nod. "Okay." Oh god I was smiling like a fucking idiot.

I hate this. I need this to leave. I needed something bad to happen. "Kyle you can uncover your eyes. Nothing is happening."

"Oh. I promise I will not say a thing. I am curious but I'll just- I'll leave it- hey you have dimples. He has dimples. Baby! I found him. We needed you to come get this guy out of here cause he's being really weird and he won't listen to anyone, he's made Hero and your other friend uncomfortable already."

"He's there." It was the same guy as last time. "Didn't I tell you to leave cause you were being weird already?" He was trying so hard to seem taller. "I know that you're trying to make an inch seem a lot more than it is, but you're not convincing anybody."

"Excuse me." I point out towards the door. "Leave. You're being weird and I'm not having my girls nights ruined by some insecure prick. So leave, now." He huffs. "What are you gonna do? You cause trouble and the news will know about it."
