"So what happened then? Why are you all, flustered?" Ruby asked, laughing as she moved the hair from my face. "Oh well, see I tried to like, you know. Pretend like the feelings were gone but then on the way back yesterday I was struggling to eat because he was like, he looked really good and then when I did eat he called me a good boy and I sort of- I can't remember anything after that. I just know I liked it."

"You know you're supposed to be mad at him right? You remember this?" I pout. "Yes? But also it's like, who gives a fuck. I get that I was mad but I don't remember so really it's like, who really cares."

"You know that if you fall into this trap you're going to do exactly what he was betting on right? Because you're not exactly what one would call, frigid. If it's there then you'll take it."

"Oh god it's so bad. I read over the texts hoping it would send me back to how I was but I literally cannot. Plus he called me pretty so like, I feel like it cancels it out-"

She smacks me across the head. "Get yourself together you fucking idiot. He used you- why are you smiling?! That's not cute."

"Yeah but he chose to use me. Plus he's said sorry, he wrote me a note and bought me food. It's like aftercare but- like, without the sex."

"You mean the bare minimum? Harry he can't just bat his eyes and get away with it." I nod quickly. "He can. He absolutely can. I think if he asked I would-"

"No. No I forbid it. Plus he wouldn't anyway. He knows better..." she started going on with herself about who even knows what. But he was across the pool talking to somebody, laughing. I'm not really the jealous type.

But right now I feel a hell of a lot more than just mad. "Hey who's that?" She turns around. Humming. "I think, that's Reece. He's in his class, they worked on a project together and I think Reeve asked him out a couple days ago."

"What?" She gasps. "Oh my god. The boy you messed with without asking out on a date is being asked out by other guys? What a crazy fucking concept."

"Fuck you." She kisses her teeth. "I'm good. It into gay guys." I push her away. "Shut up. He's too close to him. Ruby I'm so close to just drowning him, or myself. Maybe both."

"Why don't you just go over there?" Finishing my drink. I set the cup down on the table. Pushing my way through the crowd. "...yeah that's what I- oh, hi Harry." Reece said.

Throwing Louis over my shoulder, I drag him away. I could hear him giggling. "That's not what I meant. Like at all."

"Yeah well. It was this or pushing him into the pool." Dropping Louis back on his feet. I fix his hair. "Why did you do that?"

"Felt like it." He steps back, tripping over god knows what, I went to help him up but he was in the pool before I'd gotten the chance. "I- how's he managed that?"

"Harry he can't swim." I roll my eyes. Leaning down to grab his hand. Pulling him up from the pool. I didn't mean to giggle the way I did.

My face went red, my eyes glued to the shirt that was stuck to his stomach. "Hey," he clicks at me. "My eyes are up here."

"Yeah but that's like. Right there." He pulls his shirt off his stomach but it was too late, it was etched into my mind for the rest of my life. I was smiling like an idiot. "You need a cold shower or something. I need new clothes."

"No.." he pushes me away. "Stop. I'm serious. I'm cold and it's causing issues."

"Ugh, fine." Holding his hands around my waist, I walk him behind me until we reach the stairs. He went up first and I had the stupidest smile on my face. "Stop staring at my ass."

"But it's right there." Pulling him into a chokehold, I kiss his cheek. Dragging him back towards the spare room. "I just need clothes."

"They're in here." He pulls himself away. Standing with his hands behind his back. "I don't know what is happening but it's strange. I like it, but it's weird."

"What's weird?" I asked, rummaging through the drawers. "You're all touchy and smiley and it's like- the way it was before everything happened."

"Oh." Holding out the clothes, he goes to grab them, I pull my hand away. Leaning in to kiss him. My hand rested against his neck.

I drop the clothes onto the bed, both my hands in his face as he holds my hips.

I wasn't sure why but I had this really strong smell of vanilla hit me and I knew it was him, so for some reason it just made me want him even more. "Why did it take weeks to get to this point but now suddenly you're just, fine?"

"I don't remember shit but I know my own feelings- kind of, I can tell when I've kissed somebody." He pulls himself back, his hands resting on my chest. "I have to get changed. It's cold." I nod, kissing him again before I left.

Smiling like an idiot as I made my way downstairs. "What did you do?" Kyle asked following me over to the drinks. "Nothing. Do you have a pen and paper? I don't know where I left the little box of them."

"Oh they're in the kitchen. Why?" I shake my head. "No reason."

"Oh my god. Harry Styles writing a song about somebody? It's unheard of." I roll my eyes, walking away knowing he was right. "Hey so I was told you were playing a show in LA in a couple days."

"What? I wasn't told." Kyle pouts. "Weird. He said that you were excited. Anyways, I was wondering if you had any spare tickets."

"I can get you one for sure. I just don't know when or where it is." He squints. "Uh.. I think it's- the forum on the- 22nd? It's a forum show I think."

"I'll get you tickets yeah." He high fives me quick. "Okay I have to go back to Faith but I'll see you probably in like ten minutes."

"Okay." I had almost the entire song in my head, but also have about four others running around at the same time.

So now I'm just in the dark kitchen pacing the floor with Kesha blasting in the background.

I didn't know what the fuck to do. "Fuck!" All I had was fucking pop songs in my head it was awful, I hate writing pop songs.

It was bad enough that I had this many songs to write but having a couple of them be pop songs was an awful turn of events. "Dude! Louis and Tyler are dancing! Like- from just dance! They're dancing!"

Riley drags me out of the kitchen pushing me through the crowd towards the backyard. Tyler and Louis both with cowboy hats and sunglasses on.

I wasn't sure what just dance was but they were dancing so I assume it was a video or something. I've never seen anybody smile so big before. It was cute.

He was wearing my clothes and my sunglasses. Good knows where he got the cowboy hat, those weren't here before. "Why do they both know this dance?" Ruby asked. "I'm not sure. I think it might be a video."

"Oh. Kesha dances?" What an odd sentence. "I don't know. Maybe." She hums. "It's like line dancing. No? This looks like line dancing." I was just as confused. "Maybe. Could be."
